Mate, i once had a friend from the city of Adana in TUrkey (Southern city). He came to Ankara for University. When we go out with him in winter. He always had a dripping nose, weared gloves, scarf etc.. and shivered. I remember, i was looking at him like "WTF are you doing ? "

That brings the question to my mind, how do you guys fare with cold ?

That brings the question to my mind, how do you guys fare with cold ?

I am exactly just like that. You made me laugh loudly. Thanks for that. Although it has to be said that I am getting used to the cold by now after several years in Europe and outside of the country. But I don't think I will ever get fully used to it or "enjoy" cold weather like some of the locals do.

Actually many areas of KSA can get cold during winter. Snow in the Northern regions of KSA is normal in the winter. Large parts of the country can get really cold during the night in the winters, early autumn and late spring.

The mountainous areas can also get really cold in the winters.

So cold is not really that uncommon in KSA. Many outsiders are just not aware of it. Windy weather is also common in a lot of places in KSA.

But the thing with me is that I am from Hijaz and we don't have much cold there outside of the mountain ranges in Hijaz and it only really gets cold there in the winter. Cold as hardly ever below 0 and rarely below 5 degrees Celsius so not even cold cold as understood in traditionally cold places on the earth.

Most of the areas of Hijaz either have a semi-tropical climate or an semi-arid climate. Temperatures during the winter are ranging from 15-25 degrees. So not really cold.

Below zero temperates are common in other regions/provinces of KSA though. Mostly in the Northern regions/provinces only.
