Tribal terrorists opened fire upon the patrol troops of Bangladesh Army

At Forman Tila, in Rangamati, hilly terrorists suddenly opened fire upon the troops patrol on Thursday at 3 pm. In response, the troops also opened fire on them and they fled to the deep forest of the region. After this incident, additional forces were stationed there and 3 team of troops’ patrol went on. Troops escorted the whole area and went on searching house to house.
Sources could not able to ascertain who fire on troops patrol. Armed groups of JSS and UPDF were on fighting each other on Wednesday at the same place. They opened fire over 5oo rounds. Russel Chakma(35), a JSS leader was killed at the fire while two other were bullet injured. The stray firing continued whole the day. The JSS armed terrorists left arms and ammunition at houses and several places at this time and fled away to the deepest forest. Both sides were engaged to prepare open fire once again from Thursdaymorning. They both tried to capture the area from morning.
Meanwhile an intelligence team went there for rescue the arms and ammunition. Seeing the men of certain disciplined forces, they again opened fire and troops also responded. Firing continued for a while and later on the terrorists fled to the jungle. There is none in list of causalities from armed forces. After search drive ends, it could be clear how much causality belong to the terrorist group.
Sources told parbattanews that the situation of that area is seemed to be normal but violence could be spread any time. Troops are searching after escorted the area. For making this region violence free, the troops announced they would operate a massive drive against the terrorists, the sources added

NO, the Bengalis weren't among the indigenous population in the Chottogram hills. Historically, the CHT had always been inhabited by a coterie of N-E tribes some prominent ones being Tripura, Chakma, Bom, Lushei and Marma.
In a cleverly, and if i may add, a dastardly hatched plan erstwhile Bangladeshi politicians decided to alter the demography of the region. That was when the entire chain of rights abuse and displacements started.
My Chakma and Lushei friends are today alienated from their ancestral homes. Many of them have shifted base to Tripura and Assam. Atrocities continue to this day in Bangladesh. A flourishing pocket of Theravada Buddhism is gradually being Islamised. The Bengalis are as much indigenous to the CHT as the Pakjabis are to GB.
Well of course, none of these would have happened had that arsehole Mountbatten didn't screw things up royally and handed over CHT to Bangladesh.

JEWS SHOULD STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE PERSECUTED HINDUS OF BANGLADESH

As Jews, we have an obligation to stand by the Hindus of Bangladesh during their hour of need

In the medieval period, Muslims massacred, enslaved and forcefully converted many Hindus, viewing them to be polytheists who don’t have a right to exist under Islamic law. However, some Muslim rulers under the Mughal Empire followed the Hanafi school of Islamic law, which treated the Hindus as dhimmis as well. Nevertheless, state-sponsored violence against Hindus existed under the Mughals and other Islamic rulers despite this. Given this, the Hindu and Jewish People today have the roots to create a bond based upon their joint history of suffering in the Islamic world. Like the antisemitism in the Islamic world today, whose roots date back to Islamic idea that Jews should be treated as dhimmis, the history of Hindus being persecuted by Muslims is what helped to shape the present plight of Hindus in Bangladesh, where Hindus face brutal discrimination today.
Shipan Kumer Basu, the head of the Hindu Struggle Committee, stressed that Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina Wazed’s government has been using Islamic State (ISIS) in a clandestine way to rid her country of its Hindu population. “ISIS has forced Hindus to flee from their ancestral homeland,” he stressed. “There is massive land grabbing, torture, rape, murder, the destruction of Hindu temples and gods, the threatening of Hindu priests and even the killing of Hindu priests. It is all the handiwork of ISIS jihadists. Forced conversion is another ploy to diminish the minorities. Forcefully, they have converted many Hindu women and girls.”
Recently, the HSC issued a report on human rights abuses suffered by the Hindu population within Bangladesh in 2016. The violence against the Hindu community in Bangladesh continues to date and the Bangladeshi government plays a role in this violence. As Basu noted, “Through the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution, Islam was declared as the state religion of Bangladesh with the provision that other religions may be practiced in peace and harmony. Since then, the minority community (largely Hindus) face discrimination, continuous atrocities and violence. It is also documented that the political process and the political parties are a major source of discrimination against the minorities.”
“Hindus are being marginalized in Bangladesh,” he added. “The number of Hindus in Bangladesh is decreasing dramatically.”
According to Ananta Kumer Roy, this is because of the Bangladeshi government’s attitude towards the Hindus within the country: “They know we are a religious minority and are powerless. They make our weakness an advantage and an excuse to threaten us, rape our sisters and mothers, beat and seize our land, turning our happy families into helpless nomad refugees.”
The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council reported that 25 Hindu homes were destroyed, 51 Hindus wounded and 81 Hindu temples, monasteries and statues destroyed between January and June 2017 in Bangladesh. During this past Ramadan especially, Bangladeshi Hindus lived in fear as a 500-year-old Hindu temple was vandalized. Around the same period of time, a Hindu mother and daughter were gang-raped near a riverside on a trawler by vandals, some of them associated with the Bangladeshi government. These are not isolated incidents. According to local sources, attacks upon Hindu people, their homes and their holy sites within Bangladesh have become a daily occurrence.
According to Basu, Sheikh Majubur Rehman, the father of Sheikh Hasina, always despised the minorities and Sheikh Hasina vowed to follow in her father’s footsteps when she came into power: “So, her policy is to make Bangladesh free of the minorities.
With the government supporting terrorists and jihadists, Muslim fanatics have [raised] their ugly faces.” He noted that ISIS is not operating in the open since Sheikh Hasina’s government does not want an international backlash but “they camouflage themselves with the ruling party’s rank and file and Islamic extremist groups.
Due to this, they have kept up their dreadful activities at ease. Even if an arrest is made, it is classified as a local minor incident and small charges are made against the terrorist. No stringent anti-terror law is applied.”As Jews, we have an obligation to stand by the Hindus of Bangladesh during their hour of need. Like the Hindu population in India, the Hindu population in Bangladesh is increasingly open to pursuing a relationship with Israel, believing it can be beneficial in helping to liberate their people from the yoke of this horrific oppression.
The Bangladeshi Hindus view Israel as a source of inspiration of what they hope that a more tolerant Bangladesh can be one day if there are free and fair elections with international monitoring that will permit the country to move in a more democratic direction. For this reason, the Jewish People should stand in solidarity with them and help them to obtain justice, human rights and to pursue democracy.

দিল্লি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এক সহকারী অধ্যাপক ফেসবুকে ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন, ভারতকে বাংলাদেশ দখল করতে হবে। Tamal Dasgupta তমাল দাসগুপ্ত নামের ওই উগ্র হিন্দুর ফেসবুক স্ট্যাটাসটি তুলে ধরা হল-
“আমি ফেসবুকে পাবলিক পোস্ট দিয়ে ঘোষণা করেছিলাম, বাংলাদেশ দখল করা দরকার, বেশ কয়েক বছর আগে। পশ্চিমবাংলায় বাংলাদেশি এজেন্টদের অনেকেই আশায় আশায় ছিলেন, সুব্রহ্মণ্যম স্বামীর যেমন হার্ভার্ডের চাকরিটা গেছল, আমারও দিল্লি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের চাকরিটা যদি এইবার যায়। স্বামী আসলে গেস্ট ফ্যাকাল্টি ছিলেন, সেটা অবিশ্যি এরা জানতেন না

Bangladeshi Insurgents Say India Is Supporting Them

AGARTALA, India— For more than a decade, India has secretly provided arms and money to tribal insurgents fighting for an autonomous state in Bangladesh, rebels given sanctuary in this border area say.
A senior security official here confirmed the assistance and said an undetermined number of rebel fighters had stayed along the border near camps of Indian paramilitary forces.
''The Government is giving them help,'' the official added, without elaborating.
The rebels, who are mostly Buddhists, belong to the Chakma and other tribes in the Chittagong Hills of Bangladesh. They say they are being persecuted and pushed off their fertile land by an influx of ethnic Bengali Bangladeshis, who are overwhelmingly Muslim.
Elections Are Planned
President H. M. Ershad of Bangladesh is planning to hold elections on June 25 to give some local autonomy to the Chittagong Hill Tracts, but the Shanti Bahini, the guerrilla organization fighting the Government, has called for a boycott of the vote and declared it will disrupt balloting.
A spokesman for the rebels said Indian officials began to provide arms and money in 1973, after the assassination in a military coup of Sheik Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh's first President and a friend of India.
The spokesman, Bimal Chakma, said the Indian Government had not given as many weapons as were needed. ''At the beginning we got some consideration, but it is very low compared with what we need.''
The Shanti Bahini has an estimated 500 guerrillas. Over the years, the insurgents have increased their armory by capturing weapons through raids on Bangladesh military units. The rebels in the Chittagong Hill Tracts also picked up large caches of Chinese semi-automatic weapons during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. Past Help for Pakistani Rebels
India also armed, trained and financed ethnic Bengali rebels seeking to break away from Pakistan, of which Bangladesh, then East Pakistan, was a part. The guerrilla attacks escalated into a war between India and Pakistan in 1971 after 10 million people fled military atrocities into India. Pakistani troops were routed and Bangladesh was created.
The Shanti Bahini, which means peace corps in the Bengali language, was formed in 1972 after a rejection of demands for autonomy, preferential treatment and an end to the Muslim influx. The Shanti Bahini says it has killed more than 500 members of the Bangladeshi military and the police as well as Muslim settlers.
''We are not separatists and we do not want armed intervention by India,'' said Mr. Chakma, the rebel spokesman. He said they wanted a stop to Muslim settlers, protection of the region's demographic character, free elections and extensive economic and political powers.
Sudhir Ranjan Majumdar, the Chief Minister or top elected official of Tripura state in northeast India, said the state did not ''harbor any Shanti Bahini, although their political wing is here.''
''We have a foreign mission here to consult with the Indian Government,'' a rebel official said. ''When there are bad combing operations by the Bangladesh army our fighters cross the border for security. They also come on leave from the campaigns.'' An Exodus to India
Since 1986, India has absorbed more than 51,000 refugee tribespeople, nearly 9,000 of them in the last two weeks, as they flee what is said to be military repression in the region. The refugees include supporters of the Shanti Bahini and leaders of the movement's political wing, the Jana Sanghata Samiti or People's Struggle Organization.
Bangladesh is the world's most densely populated region and one of its poorest. Since it was formed, Muslim settlers have been moving from other parts of the country to the lightly populated Chittagong Hill Tracts. The influx has changed the ethnic composition of the place and brought tension and clashes in its wake.
The current population of the Chittagong Hill Tracts is about one million, with nearly 600,000 tribes people. The rest are Muslim settlers.
Bangladesh has stepped up a bitter army campaign against the Chakmas, sending them fleeing into India several times in the last 17 years. The 1986 exodus was the biggest. Rights Violations Reported
Amnesty International, the human rights organization, has reported serious violations of human rights in the Chittagong Hill Tracts by Bangladeshi military personnel, including rape, torture and indiscriminate shooting. Recent refugees say the assaults on women, capture of farmland by Muslim settlers and killing of Chakmas is continuing.
The weariness with fighting is showing and the Shanti Bahini held six rounds of talks over the last year with Bangladeshi officials. However, there has been little progress, Mr. Chakma said.

১৯৭২ সালে ভারতের দ্বারা পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামে শান্তিবাহিনী গঠন প্রমান করে যে ভারত বাংলাদেশের মানুষের স্বার্থে বা স্বাধীনতার স্বার্থে ১৯৭১ সালে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করেনি।ভারত তার স্বার্থেই পাকিস্তানকে দুই ভাগ করেছে। কিন্তু মধ্য থেকে জীবন দিতে হয়েছে আমাদের ৩০ লক্ষ্ বাংলাদেশীদেরকে।
সাধারণ মানুষ এমনকি মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদেরও জানার বা বোঝার সময় হয়নি যে তারা কেন যুদ্ধ করছে? আমরা এমন এক অভাগা জাতি যে আজও আমরা জানি না যে ১৯৭১ সালের তথাকথিত যুদ্ধ এবং পাকিস্তানকে দ্বিখণ্ডিত করার BENEFICIARY কে বা করা।আমাদের নেতাদেরকে বলা হয়েছে কুষ্টিয়ায় গিয়ে সরকার গঠন করো। যারা সরকার গঠন করেছিল তাদের অধিকাংশই ছিল ভারতের বেতনভুক্ত। ছাত্রনেতাদেরকে বলা হয়েছিল জাতীয় নেতাদের কথা না শুনে পতাকা উড়াতে অথচ দেশের খবর নেই। মহান নেতা শেখ মুজিবকে বেসামাল অবস্থায় ফেলা হলো যাতে তিনি সঠিক সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে ব্যর্থ হন। তার দল আওয়ামী লীগ এর সিনিয়র নেতারা তাদের আত্মা ইন্ডিয়ার কাছে বিক্রি করে বসে আছে আর ছাত্র নেতারাও আত্মা বিক্রির আগেই ভারতের প্রেমে দিশেহারা।
শেখ মুজিব ব্যর্থ হননি কিন্তু তাকে ব্যর্থ বানানো হয়েছে।পাকিস্তানের জেলে বসে তিনি জানতেও পারেননি যে তার দলীয় ভারতীয় দালালরা ভারতের স্বার্থে দেশের ৩০ লক্ষ মানুষের জীবন ধুলায় মিশিয়ে দিয়ে পাকিস্তানকে দ্বিখণ্ডিত করতে সফল হয়েছে।
ভারত ভালো করেই জানতো শেখ মুজিবের ব্যক্তিত্ব। আওয়ামী লীগ এর দলীয় ভারতীয় দালালদের দিয়ে শেখ মুজিবকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা সম্ভব হবে না। ভারতীয়দের পোষা তথাকথিত বুদ্ধিজীবীরাও শেখ মুজিবকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারবে না। অনেক চিন্তা ভাবনার পর ভারত নিম্নোক্ত সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করলো:
১. RAW এর দালাল জুলফিকার আলী ভুট্টোকে নিয়োজিত করে রাখলো শেখ মুজিবকে যেন কিছুটা হলেও নিয়ন্ত্র করা যায়।
২. আওয়ামী লীগ এর নেতাদের ভাতা বাড়িয়ে দেয়া হলো শেখ মুজিবের সকল সিদ্ধান্ত যেন ভারতকে আগেভাগে জানানো হয়।
৩. পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের উপজাতী সম্প্রদায়কে স্বাধীনতার লোভ দেখিয়ে গঠন করতে বলা হলো শান্তি বাহিনী। (ঠিক একই লোভ ইস্ট পাকিস্তানীদেরকে দেখানো হয়েছিল।)
৪. শান্তিবাহিনীদেরকে ভারতের মাটিতে নিয়ে প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে স্বশস্ত্র করা হলো।
৫. আওয়ামী লীগকে কাউন্টার দেয়ার লক্ষ্যে জাসদ তৈরী করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হলো।
৬. ফারাক্কা বাঁধকে অপারেশনাল করা হলো।
৭. শান্তিবাহিনীর সহায়তায় বাংলাদেশে বসবাসরত হিন্দুদেরকে নিয়ে গঠন করা হলো হিন্দু,বৌদ্ধ খ্রীষ্টান ঐক্য পরিষদ।
উপরোক্ত সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী ১৯৭২ সালেই গঠন করা হলো শান্তি বাহিনী। তাদেরকে ভারতের মাটিতেই প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে স্বশস্ত্র করা হয়েছিল।স্বয়ং শেখ মুজিব তা জানতেন বলেই ভারতপন্থীদেরকে তার ধারে কাছেও ঘেঁষতে দিতেন না।ইতিমধ্যেই জাসদ আত্মপ্রকাশ করলো। তারা শেখ মুজিবের জীবনকে দুর্বিষহ করে তুললো। তার পরের কাহিনী সকলেরই জানা। ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ই আগষ্ট শেখ মুজিবকে স্বপরিবারে পৃথিবী থেকে সরিয়ে দেয়া হলো।
আমি সবসময়ই বলে আসছি যে ভারত আমাদেরকে কখনই সাহায্য করেনি। বরং আমরা না বুঝে ভারতকে সাহায্য করেছি।আমাদের ৩০ লক্ষ মানুষ জীবন দিয়েছে ভারতের স্বার্থে। মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা যুদ্ধ করেছে ভারতের পররাষ্ট্রনীতিকে সফল করার লক্ষ্যে।
ভারত শেখ মুজিবকে নিয়ে খেলেছে এবং খেলা শেষে তাকে সড়ানোও হয়েছে।
গত কয়েক বছর ধরে তারা শেখ মুজিবের অতি চালাক মেয়ে হাসিনা শেখকে নিয়েও খেলছে। শান্তিবাহিনী আজো আছে।ফারাক্কা বাঁধ এবং হিন্দু বৌদ্ধ খ্রীষ্টান ঐক্য পরিষদও রয়েছে।হাসিনা শেখ এর চারপাশে রয়েছে ভারতীয়দের পোষা আওয়ামী কুকুর। হাসিনা শেখকে দিয়ে বাংলাদেশের বারোটা বাজানো ইতিমধ্যেই হয়েছে। দেশের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক নিয়ন্ত্রণ কোনো কিছুর উপরেই নেই।হাসিনা শেখের নিজস্ব নিরাপত্তাটুকু পর্যন্ত তার হাতে নেই।১৫ই আগষ্ট ১৯৭৫ সালের পূর্বে শেখ মুজিবকে যেভাবে জনবিচ্ছিন্ন করা হয়েছিল ঠিক তেমনি হাসিনা শেখকেও করা হয়েছে। এবার শুরু করেছে ভারতীয় নিম্নোক্ত নতুন খেলা :
১. বিচারপতি সিনহা কে দিয়ে দেশে কৃত্রিম সাংবিধানিক সংকট তৈরী করা।
২. ফারাক্কার বাঁধ ছেড়ে দিয়ে দেশের অর্থিনীতিকে পঙ্গু করে দেয়া।
৩. দেশবাসীকে হাসিনা শেখের বিরুদ্ধে খেপিয়ে দেয়া।
৪. মিয়ানমারকে দিয়ে রোহিঙ্গ্যা নিধন পুনুরুজ্জীবিত করে শরণার্থী সমস্যা তৈরী করা।
হাসিনা শেখের বাবা ভারতীয়দের দাবা'র চালে হেরে গিয়েছিলেন। দেখা যাক হাসিনা শেখ এবার কি করে???

আসামের শিলচর থেকে প্রকাশিক দৈনিক ‘সাময়িক প্রসঙ্গ’ পত্রিকার শনিবার (২৩ জুলাই) সংখ্যায় এ সংক্রান্ত একটি প্রতিবেদন প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।
আব্দুল খালেক নামে বিধানসভার ওই কংগ্রেস সদস্য বলেছেন, বাংলাদেশে হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধসহ সংখ্যালঘুদের ওপর নির্যাতন বন্ধ না হলে প্রয়োজনে সে দেশের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করুক ভারত সরকার। যে দেশের স্বাধীনতায় ভারতের অবদান সবচেয়ে বেশি। যে দেশ অর্থনৈতিক ক্ষেত্রে অনেকাংশে ভারতের ওপর নির্ভরশীল সে দেশে ক্রমাগত হিন্দুদের ওপর নির্যাতন হবে এটা মানা যায় না।
বিধানসভার বাজেট অধিবেশনের পঞ্চম দিনে বেসরকারি প্রস্তাবে তিনি এ কথা বলেন। এসময় বাংলাদেশে হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধ, জৈন, খ্রিস্টান ধর্মের লোকদের সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করারও আহ্বান জানান তিনি।

Bangabhumi (Bengali: বঙ্গভূমি, meaning the land of Bengal) also known as Bir Bongo(Bengali: বীর বঙ্গ), is a separatist movement to create a Hindu country using southwestern Bangladesh, envisioned by Banga Sena.
The movement was founded in 1973 in India soon after independence of Bangladesh to support the Hindu refugees from Bangladesh, who were targeted by the Pakistan Army in the 1971 Bangladesh atrocities.
However, this movement did not receive much support at that time. In an interview with BBC News in 2001, Chittaranjan Sutar, one of the alleged organisers of the movement, denied supporting the creation of a new nation.
The movement openly became active again on 4th February, 2003 when it declared the independence of Hindu Republic of Bangabhumi.

It is now clearly evident that under the instruction of Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Awami League leaders, gangsters and hooligans are hurling threats and intimidation against Chief Justice Sinha in order to forcefully remove him from his position. Given these developments, I call upon the Israeli nation to stand with the Bangladeshi Hindu community at this crucial juncture.
Now more than ever, the Bangladeshi Hindus need Israel to stand in solidarity with us.
It is now clearly evident that because the Chief Justice is from the Hindu community, the ruling Awami League leaders and workers are using insolent and abusive language against him. They are insulting, humiliating and belittling him publicly. For example, Bangladesh's Agriculture Minister Motia Chowdhury has resorted to hate speech against Bangladesh's Hindu Chief Justice. Chowdhury described Chief Justice Sinha as black and filth that cannot be cleaned even after death, adding that the judgment on the 16th Amendment is a farce. The Agriculture Minister added that Bangladeshi freedom was achieved by all and not one particular person. This undermines father of the nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman just because he is a part of a minority group, resulting in him being suppressed and maligned.
This demonstrates the Awami League hatred towards the Hindu community, nurtured in the hearts and minds of those who adhere to Awami League ideology since ancient times. As long as the Hindu community behaved submissive towards Awami Leaguers, the Awami League was willing to tolerate us as dhimmis (protected yet second-class citizens). Whenever Hindus speak out for truth and justice, which goes against the vested interests of the Awami League, they become fiercely angry and begin to oppress the Hindus in the most horrendous ways imaginable.
We have now perfectly realized that if the Awami League can succeed in forcefully clinging to the power through another pre-engineered and farce election like what existed in the sham elections of 2014, the Hindu community will even lose their voting rights. The Awami League leaders and workers will then forcefully occupy their remaining properties and force them to leave Bangladesh. Any fair and impartial election in Bangladesh is absolutely impossible as long as the Awami League is in power.
In order for an impartial, fair and credible election to take place, the establishment of a national government under the leadership of the present Chief Justice is an unavoidable imperative. An impartial election in Bangladesh is essential for the continued existence of the Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, tribal communities and other ethnic populations in the country. Otherwise, nobody will be immune from the clandestine disappearance, wholesale massacre, indiscriminate sexual and physical assaults and concocted criminal cases implemented against the minorities, irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
In conclusion, I call upon the Israeli people to stand with the Hindu people of Bangladesh during our hour of need. Jews across the world for the past two thousand years have known what it is like to be treated like second-class citizens. They have been oppressed, forcefully converted, massacred, raped and they were victims of ethnic cleansing and genocide. For this reason, they understand what our people are experiencing under the Sheikh Hasina government.
Therefore, I ask that the Israeli nation and especially the Israeli government to help another persecuted minority group in order to liberate itself from this horrific Bangladeshi government, which will thus enable us to not only survive but to overcome the yoke of tyranny, permitting us to take our proper place as citizens with equal human rights in a new Bangladesh. Should Israel help us, the new government will seek to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.
Bangladesh is the 10th most populated country in the world. Once diplomatic relations are established, Israel can benefit economically from marketing its goods in our beloved country and will have one less adversary in the Islamic world. We as Bangladeshis will likewise benefit from the Israeli technology and know-how that the Jewish people have to offer world humanity.
