Tejas was formally inducted into the IAF in 2016 and as of now we have 8 Tejas serving with the IAF while SP-9(flew March 2018), SP-10(flew July 2018) and SP-11(flew last month) are being tested and configured as we speak and will be with the IAF shortly.

Sounds good when many airforces are retiring most of their 4th gen aircraft and replacing them with 5th gen or 4++ or 4.75 gens aircraft you are inducting them
