Takrar SSGN Special

. . . . . . . . . . .
SSGN training is tougher than SSG but their CT capabilities are not at par with SSG.
I would disagree. Apart from Zarrar(who have the advantage of having dedicated equipment and training) company the rest of the SSG is perhaps inferior to the training for SSGN.

.
there was an article written years ago, back in 08/09 it was about an SSG operative who was being trained by some private US contractor for security, he basically said that some of the training he did was something which was not taugh on a regular SSG course i can't remember specifically what technique he was speaking, about but part of his training resulted in already qualified SSG participants to drop out.

what do you mean by dedicated equipment/training? i've heard a similar thing regarding this, a friend whos uncle is in the SSG was telling me the zarrar company is far better equipped then the rest of the ssg units.

They have specific equipment that caters to close quarters battle such as cornershot guns(look it up), Thermal cams, bore-scopes. etc. Along with dedicated drills to practice CT more often.

Are they going to be better when retaking a hospital that has been overtaken by terrorists? Yes

Are they going to be better when taking on terrorists in the open field? Perhaps.

Are they going to be better carrying out a sabotage operation against a Radar installation and then fighting their way back?

NO.

your last point is beyond possibility if you mean in an indo-pak setting, the problem with the SSG is there 2 brave for there own good, there comanding officers send them off to die, and i use the tirah valley op in 2013 as evidence, they dont care if it takes 10 lives to achieve an objective, the primary objective would be to destroy the radar station and take out as many indians before you get shot, forget getting bk to a rallying point or extraction zone, its basically a 1 way ticket. In a western country if some of those missions were carried out in a similar fashion the news channels would talking about it to this day e.g. black hawk down. and the comanding officers would be court Marshalled.
lets not confuse the indians for an arab army, even a NATO country would struggle to achieve that task, if were dealing with third world countries like uganda, myarmar and iraq(bravo 2 zero) its very possible, but in pakistans case its dealing with a third world nation with a 1st world army imo.
