I think We should wait for our Turboshaft engine to build So We should scale the engine while we are designing 8 ton Heli, then we wouldn't have to depend on foreign engine.

Local avionics, local engine, local. fuselage and local design. We can have totally independent helicopters industry in the foreseeable future.

Temel Kotil, General Manager of ANKARA-TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industry - Turkish Aerospace Industry - TAI), announced that they have started a development program for their production of a general purpose civil helicopter with a weight of 10 tons and a minimum of 20 people. Temel Kotil, who answered the questions of the world, emphasized that the gearbox developed for T625 could be developed and used in this helicopter. Together with this helicopter, the number of helicopter models for which TAI has an existing and developing production and sales authority has reached 5.

Estimated duration 4 years

Basic Kotil TAI gave the following information about the newly launched 10-ton and at least 20-person general purpose helicopter, recalling that the first flight in June and the certification of the T625 civil helicopter,

"The T625 has a 6-ton helicopter, a 1400-horsepower engine, a TEI engine, and a 6-ton helicopter for the helicopter, so we will 'upgrade' it, and we will manufacture it as a prototype. In two years, the certification is over.

TAI's helicopter program reached 5 with a minimum 20-person helicopter development program announced by Temel Kotil. These include ATAK, the new version of the attack helicopter, the T625 civil helicopter, the new 20+ general purpose helicopter development, and the Sikorsky T70 joint production program.

TAI currently produces the original ATAK T129 attack helicopters, which are the Turkish version of the Italian-made Agusta A129 helicopter. TSK ordered 59 of these helicopters, 9 of which were not fully configured models called early duhul. 24 helicopters have been delivered and helicopters are on the production line. This helicopter export license is also in the hands of Turkey. TAI has launched a new attack helicopter program that will carry bigger and more useful loads in the form of ATAK helicopters with its own resources. This project will be a helicopter model of Turkey's 2 different attacks when the past is over.

The program, which includes the submission of some sub-systems of the Sikorsky S70 general-purpose helicopter, which is the main contractor of the TAI as the T70, has reached the final stage by agreement. In this program, Turkey, TSK, Police, General Directorate of Forestry, such as a large number of organizations will receive 109 helicopters. Sikorsky will allow the same number of helicopters to be exported by TAI. The T625 program will be the first domestic design helicopter developed by Turkey. The design of this helicopter has been completed and the first flight scheduled for June 2018. A lightweight helicopter, the T625 is predominantly designed for civilian use. For this helicopter, TEI affiliate TEI develops an engine at 1400 horsepower.

I assumed (from written) a three engined (3x1400-hp) 10-ton & 20-person utility variant like a little sibling of AW101

Very nice design

Comparable to many of the land vehicles, has the Turkish look
