if a code of conduct thread can generate so much anamosity and anger amongst some then it’s really a next to impossible task.
On a Pakistani forum Indians have to understand that some Pakistanis are hot blooded patriots and will vent their anger occasionally touching nerves. Either you accept the status quo or take a back seat to debate - simple.

The intentions of you, @Verve, @Pan-Islamic-Pakistan and @PAKISTANFOREVER are getting clearer and clearer now. You don't want amiable chit chat among Indians and Pakistanis here as you want to constantly vilify us and that was your plan all along.

He has been lying throughout ... he brought Gandhi in all this ... just because I used 'Gandhiites' (which incidentally at that point I meant for Indra's seeds!).

He has taken Gandhi as his lord, so all rationality and logic out of window and he blew up! Not on PDF he won't be able to get away with it.

It's their agenda to drive a wedge between the users of both nationalities. But that's fine...it's their right to drive a wedge which I fully support.

I also support constructive criticism of Mahatma Gandhi on a Pakistani forum.....

What I don't support is gutter-level vocabulary to describe our national icon, in fact a global icon. Now I don't want to repeat anymore. We're all clear.

Gandhi is not my LORD...he's just a revered figure and national icon. We don't worship him. Just like Quaid e Azam is your icon.

Don’t please make assessments on me - I several pages pointed out it was commendable what the the likes of Joe and Shantanu we’re trying to achieve here but would find it difficult - I have just got involved to this level because I cannot agree with the fact that some people like Ghandi should be talked about in a negative manner - this is a forum yaar and people have difference of opinion - crushing that is a no IMO. Remove the abuse and personal attacks but don’t set a code of conduct about a person that some don’t find as an icon of history.
