Yes it includes Jandarma Paramilitaries.

The Jandarma has 189,786 Personnel.

Unfortunately my turkish isn't amazing so someone else will have to handle that.

When you look up to wiki page "Village guards" are counted as paramilitary not jandarma.

According to wiki they are paramilitary law enforcement.

Also in the paramilitary source you provided it says that Gendarmerie is a type of paramilitary force.

@Informant in short there is 213k professional personel, which includes officers, petty officers, specialist privates/corporals/sergenas and contracted soldiers.

There is 410k reserve officers and constripted soldiers.

Total military personal is 623.351

Pffft not enough for me to take over after Erdogan.

They are reducing the conventional army and replace them with professionals.

The Turkish Navy is currently undergoing several modernization programmes to replace its ageing equipment. As of 2013 its major projects are as follows:

• The construction works of twelve MILGEM project warships (8 Ada class corvettes and 4 TF-100 class frigates) are currently ongoing. The first vessel, F-511 TCG Heybeliada, was commissioned in 2011.
• Plans to build a total of four TF-2000 class air-defence frigates with the option for two more.[25][26] As of December 2012, Turkey may acquire up to eight of the new frigates.[27]

Turkish Navy is the largest and the most technologically sophisticated Navy in what you called Muslim worlds if you wanna include Turkiye since they are secular country

It's actually shrinking... I think it's the first time it's below 700.000 for a long time

Having a smaller but professional Army is more worth than quantity.

NK has 1.3 million soldiers but they can do a shit with them.
