There is no other side of the coin........you mention a news piece from a years ago and when checked its a nothing article.....one guy threatens the sikh gudwara and a years later nothing has happened unlike in india when by now the whole thing would have been destroyed and replaced with hindu temple.

although I do understand that Pakistan treats the Sikhs well...and they enjoy their status there...but let's not get into casteism and martial races shall we..?
they are both flawed concepts..once was developed centuries ago..and the other by the Brits to divide people and prevent another 1857.

paritosh i just mentioned one point why Sikhs are adored. They are considered martial race and i cant say anything about other places but here in my area we respect and adore brave people no matter Sikh, Hindu or from any other faith.

So Ok yes leave that aside i am also not intersted in debating races and casts in this thread.

Exactly, just like your army attacks mosques when terrorists are hiding inside.

Let me tell you from personal experience, Sikhs enjoy far better position in India than Hindus. Infact, being Sikh in India is an advantage, because it gets you respect everywhere. It helps you in your career, it helps you in politics, it helps you in business.

Muslims in India are discriminated against sometimes, but for Sikhs it is completely opposite. Which is why I find it hypocritical when Pakistanis accuse India of "mistreating" sikhs.
It is in Pakistan where Sikhs are really mistreated by your laws and your constitution which denies equal opportunity to all religions.

Sikhs form over 10% OF THE iNDIAN MILITARY in india despite only being 2% of the population.

The prime minster of india is a Sikh.

Many of the officer Corps in india and highest military ranks are SIKHS.

Silkhs are both Wealthy and Proud race of India.

To spell it out..its not off topic..Ive just hinted to Maverick that I think the support/love for Sikhs in Pakistan is related to its love for Kashmiri's etc and in plays with Pakistan's whole values and identity.

Baloch and Afghans are added for him to fill in the blanks...I didnt know Balochies are called BLA?.....who said Sikhs are terrorists....its a different matter..that as a state policy Pakistan funded the sikhs movement for Khalistan..or so Ive heard !!!
