I know you have a 56 Inch chest too

India is as much a meat eating country as Pakistan is a alcoholic drinking country. Depending on the context Indian's will play a differant tune. Fact is India is majority vegetarian country insofar as Pakistan is a teetotaler country. I am sure if you listen to @Imran Khan [I hope I tagged the right guy] you would think all of Pakistan is swimming in the stuff. Indian meat consumption is amongst the lowest in the world.

But often in the west Indians in order to spin on the "Indian cuisine" theme will make it out like every Indian table has sizzlking seekh kebabs, ghosht karai, meat pillau, keema on nan every morning and evening every day of the week.

Of course I know even the fcukin Sikhs eat dhal, dhal and dhal every day ....

Veggie map. Look who is bright green.

Hackers Put up Spicy Beef Curry Recipe on Hindu Mahasabha's Website After Controversial Comment on Kerala Floods
The party’s website showed it had been hacked by Team Kerala Cyber Warriors. It also carried a message for Chakrapani that said, “We respect people for their character and not their food habits.”

I am tired of the Hindutva trolls. Many people are.
This columnist was a Modi supporter - now read this -

The only thing good about the BJP is that it is nowhere near as corrupt as the Congress and its allies were in their second term. But the fissures they are creating in society are far more dangerous.

...Just earlier I listened to Rajdeep Sardesai in India Today and the fissures, the Congress/CPI/LDF versus BJP fissures were visible...and all this when Kerala people desperately need aid...

Political fissures are fine - most of them are pretty juvenile and don't think past the next election.

The problem is the seeds of hatred being sown at the societal level. If you don't agree with the saffron narrative you are a libtard and an anti-national. Modi keeps blaming the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty. I find it laughable - there are 4 MPs from Gandhi-Nehru family in Parliament - and 2 of them are in the BJP - Maneka and Varun Gandhi.

Yes true, what initially looked as though Modi will tackle the corruption, the nepotism, the 60 years of congress dynastic politics and policies is actually turning into just frivolous populist rhetoric, election winning old promises and nothing in economy, job creation, industries...Cow politics is more important than anything else.

But Modi has the 'gift-of-gab' a good orator and is charismatic...for the undoing of the liberals and educated class, the Bhakts find it once in a lifetime opportunity.

In the WSJ article you attached, the writer also narrated how Modi shifted from the free economy, job creation through industries to populist and socialist slogans which attracts a large part of his right wing constituency, he is shrewd no doubt, learned and sage I very much doubt.
