Mutton is the most expensive in Pakistan out of all the meats then chicken then beef. (Could be wrong here)

Beef (cow meat) and Buffalo meat are slightly different.

Beef trumps all. Especially after having Zahid ki Nihari last month (bong cut).

Is it forbidden to serve eat beef burgers in india what mcdonalds and burger king hardees serve in india is it unlawful in india even for big franchises to serve beef

Indians please comment and shed some light on this issue
This is perfectly legal in India, except for 2-3 states out of total 31. Rest have absolutely no issue at all with beef. Beef, pork, various seafoods hae restaurants all over India. North India is a little stricter against beef, but only in certain parts. Rest is completely fine.

Only issue with Chicken and mutton, is that you should be ready to grab them quickly. At restaurants or at home, pieces disappear fast and curry (if it's curry) or rice (or maybe biryani) is left for slow eaters. If it's KFC style wings, just empty bowls will be left I guess

Here is a TRUE story that is stranger than fiction,

It was 1966 & Indira Gandhi was finding it difficult to ensure a victory for her in the next election.

She visited Swami Karpatri ji a very famous saint & Acharya Vinoba Bhave for blessings.

Both of them gave her their blessings but placed a condition if she becomes the Prime Minister she would immediately bring an end to cow slaughter taking place in the country.

In those days 15,000 cows were killed each day. Indira promised she would do so if she wins, And she won.

After Indira Gandhi won, Acharya Vinoba Bhave visited her reminded her of the promise she had made before the elections. Indira Gandhi said she needed some time to adjust to her responsibilities after which she would fulfill the promise, but Indira never did it.

Swami Karpatri ji’s patience ran out & he decided to protest & on 7th Nov. 1966 sadhus & gaurakshaks were protesting for anti cow slaughtering bill in front of Sansad Bhavan.

Instead of succumbing to their promised demand, Indira Gandhi ordered to open fire on them.

While the official report said that 375 Hindus were killed in the firing, according to a person who participated in the agitation about 5000 Hindus were brutally massacred in the bullet spray

Enraged beyond words, Swami ji cursed Indira Gandhi that she would meet the same fate as his followers did.

The day when Indira Gandhi and her Government did this brutal massacre of hundreds of sadhus & gaurakshaks was Gopashtami, the most holy day for cow puja.

So how could she escape from reaping the fruits of her actions?

Indira Gandhi was shot on the day of Gopashtami in 1984.
