Russia experts suggest to sell MiG-35 to Pakistan

On the other hand your last attempt was J10a we all know about that plane :agree:

The plane that consistently beats the crap out of SU 30MKKs that Russia has supplied? The very brother of the SU 30MKI you guys worship as some kind of god.

In 2009 your AVIC chief admit that quality of your engines are still not good and now its 2011.

Exactly its 2011. Not every country takes 30 years to sort something out. It only took 4 years for first flight of JF 17 to batch production.

Some members comparing J10b with EF, rafale, F18, Su35BM (world best fighters) without knowing anything about your plane
Same case with your J20

Yes its very comparable. Same weight class, similar AESA radars, IRST, BVR, Electronic warfare, range, speed, and etc. What makes it not comparable? The fact that it has brand name?

Just drop the issue altogether bro. The issue clearly isn't about Russia is willing to sell Pakistan Migs. That was just the appetizer to what is to come. Moreover, neither countries engaged eachother militarily for us to make good enough judgements of their true capabilities. Everything discussed about were purely speculations. Many times the abilities of the pilots are left out of the equation. Their skills and judgements makes up a sizable amount of difference on the outcomes of a fight.

People should look at the Russian made statement from other perspectives. It's all about improving ties with Pakistan, not the sale of Migs. First we have Russians not supporting Pakistan's application to become a full member of the SCO because of India. Now we have them fully supporting its application after India dropped the deal in favour of the French.

So I am guessing that the Russians felt betrayed and was angered. They are now looking at other 'alternative' sources of benefits instead of relying on the sale of military technology to India.

You do have a valid point about 'The US-Russia' reset. It paved way for Russo-American cooperations. That however doesn't signify mutual trust, hence we have the SCO. The existence of the SCO and it's intentions are clear. Just google it yourself and see. You still failed to refute my point that Russia is still fairly anti-NATO. Search on NATO missile defence shield and read the headline news on RT for a few days then you will see for yourself.

Just to clarify, I do not have any problems with SCO and the way things are heading for Pakistan. The only ones with issues and is in constant state of denial is your buddy.

I guess there are 2 sides of the same coin. Officially, they have their smiles and laughs; hell -- I still remember the video of Prez Clinton sharing laughs with a highly inebriated Boris Yeltsin. And those were during the days just subsequent to the Cold War but with Balkans still in troubled waters.

looking to today --Russia still views NATO as the ''f*ck you Commies'' organization. However at the same time, we also see NATO countries selling arms and doing cooperation with Russia

e.g. the French Mistral destroyers which Russia ordered recently....but then again, Frenchies will do anything when you wave cold cash at them, even if it annoys fellow NATO countries.

Ya that why till now no customer even your favorite customer those who need showpiece fighter dnt want to buy them

4 year for production ??? Is this the reason China dnt want to induct them ?????

Till now you only copy other stuff and any of the specs not known to any one . We all saw your last attempt J10a (Even that was a Israeli copy)

They were not even offered until very recently, and they are buying a more advanced version at a higher price. There is nothing wrong with that.

Sorry but we don't have a aversion to projects that get done on time, and on budget. We simply have more money and already have a superior plane in the J 10. It doesn't take 4 years to produce. It means that within 4 years of it first flight it was inducted, a extremely fast development time.

And you don't? The only reason that the Germans don't care that the Arjun is a copy of their Leopard A4 is because its outdated and they can make money selling you engines, and other parts for it.

As for the J 10 its a continuation of the J-9 , a project started in 1975. The Lavi didn't start until 1984. So unless you're saying we have a time machine.

Oh and they are not even in the same weight category.

I LOL'ed at the Frenchies comment. Yes that is so true. The French were also the ones who wanted the embargo lifted against China.
In the world that we live in, you have to have a degree of cooperation even if there is a lack of trust. Cold war is in the past and NATO's existence is for their own benefits so too are the SCO's. Pakistan has suffered enough and I for one am truely glad for Pakistan to, finally, be able to say 'FU' to the America and all the haters.

Actually Russia wisened up. They are no longer only depending on arms trade. That's why they moved closer to pakistan right after India turned down on its fighter jet deal. India think they can blackmail Russians into slashing ties with pakistan, but that's a naive thought to say the least. Working with Pakistan brings about better opportunites.

How so? care to elaborate, bring in more Chechen jihadis or asking Pakistan to be an interlocuter, other that these Pakistan is of no use to Russia.

Energy needs and development, sea and land access into Middle-East and Africa, Arms deal, Joint intel and counter terrorism operations and joint military cooperations to list a few. Your way of thinking is dated my friend. You can remind the Russians and Pakistanis about the Afghan war, but it will only fall on deaf ears because they have both 'moved on' since then. Soviet is no more and instead we now have the SCO.

No one want showpieces. Even your Jf17 struggling with that cheap price (Cheaper that Chinese trainers ) cause every one know its limitations

If you can suggest JF17 to your friend as their main fighter i am sure you also want it

Recently their is a news that Pakistan produce first gun for their MBT
otherwise they bought it from some where else

I thought its chinese tank but why they dnt want your Gun on that ;)

Some Chinese members said that its totally a new concept first make your mind what it is

Just because J-10 has a delta wing configuration and canards doesn't mean it's a copy of any plane. Would a swivel wing aircraft be copied off an F-14 or Sukhoi because it shares some similar design features? Delta wing is just a good design and there's no point in incorporating an inferior design.

If a J10A has AESA radar, then without looking at how the radar is contructed, it's impossible to tell if it's a copy or not. The simple fact is China has made good progress in its aero industry.
