if it ever got to this point where an any enemy aircraft is able to get behind a F-22 then it deserves to be shoot down, but I say this knowing it would never get to this point

the French have a good bird and excellent pilots, so it's no surprise they could get a shot on a F-22

Looks like rafale gonna be inducted in to IAF in large numbers. New formula :Since India already setting up service base for some 1.5 billion or so. The next lot would considerably cheaper than first 36 jets. More over while IAF operates only 50 some mirage 2K, operational cost with India is cheaper than that of French themselves. When compared to Sukoi operation per hour would coat nearly 6000 dollars less than Sukoi. Man power to maintain rafale is also less. And would be very cheaper for new batchs too

Rafale's task is only to kick open the door ; knock out the AWACS and the Tankers
along with their escorts

And yet according to those that fly it, including Norwegian Air Force Major Morten Hanche, the F-35 is more maneuverable then an F-16.
