What's new

PTI HAS ANNOUNCED RESIGNATIONS FROM NATIONAL ASSEMBLY!

yeah no need to sit in the parliament, this newly formed government is even weaker than IK`s.... make sure every street knows what happened and start the public protest all over Pakistan!
Exactly,,, the system is corrupt, so sitting in opposition to a corrupt state, military, judiciary is impossible

If you deal within the system you are just giving validity to a corrupt parliament, they will seek to beat you down anyway

The PTI and IK must go to the people, and SHOUT OUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED that the system is corrupt, parliament and establishment has been compromised and only overwhelming public support will change that

At no point should PTI partake in this corrupt system, just like a spoiler everywhere

The NCM was carried with only 174 votes. If PTI stays then it has a very good chance to come back to power--not many votes are needed for that. Certainly MQM and PPP hate each other and not much needed there to bring back MQM. It would be real politic--not an emotional decision--to get back to power. Carry forward the PTI agenda instead of risking that.

The PTI has also announced that they will challenge Shahbaz Sharif's candidature in the National Assembly for the post of Prime Minister! Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be the candidate from PTI. The reason for the challenge is to show the people that Shahbaz Sharif, who was supposed to be indicted tomorrow, does not deserve to be the PM of Pakistan.

Looking at what transpired i think that is a moot point
Siting in opposition wont matter as parliment will act as rubber stamp

Not really they bought up a 20-30 candidates
So thats not happening
The best move to avoid PTI fracturing is simply resign

No matter how many million people vote, you know who is actually calling the Shots.

There is a reason why PARA MILITARY FORCES UNDER MINISTRY OF INTERIOR ARE KEPT DIVIDED AND NOT AS CAPABLE AS THE ARMED FORCES.

PTI has more seats than the main oppositions combined. Should stay in the parliament. Change of opinion from me.

PTI shouldn't resign, this mofo establishment may conduct by-election and provide their stooges enough seats to do constitutional amendments. You can expect anything from these sellouts, beggers and slaves.

That's better because you will know exactly who these people are

There needs to be revolution in Pakistan, if they just sit in opposition they are validating the system

If Pakistani around the world don't pull their money, then they are validating the system

It's unfortunate it has come to this, but the most patriotic thing we can do for Pakistan now is bring it down so either it will rise or collapse, but at least we don't have to sink our money into a corrupt system and looting politicians

So even after the 20-30 candidates, the total was only 174? Those 20 PTI dissident MNAs are legally bound to support PTI directives or they lose and face the law. They didn't vote in the NCM partly because they were not needed but also because they knew the consequences. I still say PTI has a good chance of coming back to power in the same assemblies at least in the National Assembly.
PS. Looks like the dissidents would also have to resign if PTI resigns?

.
PTI don't need to be accomplices in this corrupt system being controlled from outside the country

They need to go directly to the people and sell them change, they need to hit the areas and garner support

They need to build upon the popularity of IK

If they sit in opposition they will just be ground down

.
I am wondering if they are resigning from NA and PA both? I think if they are resigning from PA as well then its a different story.
