New Delhi: India on Tuesday dismissed fresh Pakistani allegation that the drone it downed along the Line of
Control (LoC) on 15 July was operated by the Indian Army as a "pure fabricated" and "disinformation campaign."
"On a day, when terrorists from Pakistan carry out an attack in Gurdaspur, the Pakistani Army issues a statement on the alleged increase of violations by India on the LoC. It is funny," Army sources said.

Asked about Pakistan army's release of pictures showing footage of a drone shot down on 15 July, purportedly showing Indian territory, the sources said "it is fabricated and a part of the misinformation campaign."

Pakistan Army had on Monday alleged that forensic tests of the drone it downed along the LOC on 15 July showed it was operated by the Indian Army.

Pakistan Military spokesman had alleged that the visuals retrieved out of the drone indicate that the Quadcopter flew from a Indian post.

Sources drove attention to Chinese media reports which have said that the drone, which was shot down on 15 July, was never sold to India.

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan’s military said on Monday that images and other data retrieved from a drone shot down earlier this month prove its assertions that the small aircraft was being used by India to spy in the disputed region of Kashmir.

Islamabad’s allegations came on the same day that three suspected militants killed six people during an attack on a police post in the Indian state of Punjab near the Pakistani border. Punjab police said they believe the gunmen had come from Pakistan. India’s central government didn’t comment on their possible origins.

Pakistan said its troops had shot down an Indian drone on July 15 near the town of Bhimber in the part of Kashmir administered by Pakistan. Indian officials dismissed the claim then, with Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar saying the downed craft didn’t appear to be a model operated by India.

An image of the drone released the Pakistani military on July 15 showed what appeared to be a Phantom series quad-rotor drone, which is commercially available and capable of shooting high-definition video and taking photographs.

Photos and videos recovered from the drone provide “irrefutable evidence that it was flown by Indian Army for reconnaissance,” Pakistan’s military said.

India’s foreign and defense ministries declined to comment.

The disputed Kashmir region has been a major source of tension between Pakistan and India since the partition of the subcontinent and the two nations’ independence from Britain in 1947. Both sides claim the region in its entirety, and each controls a portion. There are regular cross-border exchanges of fire.

Pakistan’s military also said it had retrieved data about “the locations traversed” by the drone. It released six images and a 97-second video containing footage purportedly from the downed drone. The imagery couldn’t be independently verified.

One image shows the exterior of a building, with signs indicating it belongs to the Indian Army. Another shows an Indian flag. Two other photos are top-down views of structures that the Pakistani military says are of an Indian security installation.

so what else is new? were we expecting the Indian Army to say "yeah thats our drone, sorry our bad"

Let the international observers decide, both countries of course are biased...

You can't expect anything better from these blooody pakis..

Which terrorists unlike pak we don't hold terrorist training camps in India.

No, but you were doubtful on whether Indian Armed Forces will claim responsibility for the drone, if it was really their's, for which I've given you an example.
the thing is the Searcher II was a military grade drone, this is a simple quad copter, which can be bought by anyone, it would have been difficult to refute the Searcher II as compared to this

Searcher could've been refuted if we wanted, because Searcher drones carried no IAF markings (Roundels, fin flash etc). None of the IAF Searchers carry them. (Wreckage of the Searcher in display in Pakistan contains a Roundel ,which was added in Pakistan). Our then Defence Minister acknowledged the two Searchers intruding into Pakistan and one being brought down by PAF. The Searcher issue was a more serious stuff and if we didn't refute that.

A man with a beard is proof enough that he is a Pakistani terrorist and videos recovered from the shot drone are fabricated.
I guess there is nothing else to say on this matter.

EXACTLY, like i said the Searcher issue was more serious, this is not YET. so this event is easily refutable

These shameless Bhartis never learn, it's in their nature to make a racket and swing like Baboons after any incident.
But i guess after getting repeatedly humiliated, they have now acquired a taste for egg in the face.
