Raza was on his way to a market when he was attacked, leaving him seriously injured.
The Pakistan High Commission in India lodged an official protest with Indian authorities following the attack.
Indian news channel NDTV reported that Raza was allegedly manhandled after his car was involved in an accident with a motorcycle.
The report claimed that the diplomat was being chased by the motorcycle, after which 10 to 15 people assaulted him and his driver.
NDTV further reported that Raza did not sustain any serious injuries.

HABITUALLY POSTED IN PAKISTAN POLITICS, PUT IT IN WORLD AFFAIRS.

A deliberate act - Indian friends are quick to sound off about how in Pakistan there are those who do not want better relations between the two countries, but perhaps they should seriously examine and begin a discussion in India about the constituency in India that is an enemy of better relations between Pakistan and India.

Stop looking for shadows everywhere. This was a routine case of violation of traffic rules by a biker which is routine in Delhi .

The news shows families of ppl involved. The lady says while the occupant of the car was apologetic and wanted things to end, the driver was getting aggressive . The crowd takes the side of whoever is on the smaller vehicle .

Such altercations are routine in traffic crazy NCR. No one read the number plates before starting an argument.

Hit and run cases are usually dealt this way in India. Not sure if his nationality played a part.

In a hit & run case ,you can bet your bottom dollar even the vehicle of the Archbishop of Canterbury or the Lord himself would be chased.
