Reports have surfaced claiming that the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) entered approximately 60 kilometers intoIndian territory in Arunachal Pradesh, marking it as part of China. This incursion, if confirmed, would be part of ongoing border tensions between India and China, particularly over disputed territories along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Critics of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government accuse him and the ruling Hindutva ideology of avoiding strong confrontation with China on this issue. Opponents argue that despite Modi's tough stance on other matters, his administration has refrained from taking aggressive diplomatic or military action against Chinese territorial advances, raising questions about the government's strategy in handling the Indo-China border disputes.

These incursions have contributed to growing tensions between the two nations, with periodic clashes and standoffs reported in recent years. However, both India and China officially maintain that they seek peaceful resolution to the border disputes through diplomatic channels. Nonetheless, the issue remains a critical challenge for the Indian government amidst domestic and international scrutiny.
