Pakistan threatens to cut US ties

There are no allies in the international arena, only mutual interests. So your post is meaningless.

LOLz...My point was that there are no alliances in the global arena but only mutual interests. And thus China-Pakistan will only be friends as long as their mutual interests co-incided. If china's interests are better aligned with better relations with India, then china will drop Pakistan.

Did you even read my post?

HAHAHAHAHA :)

Wake up. Its 2011 not 1981.

Pakistan-Iranian relations has improved drastically since 2008. Pakistan-Russia relations has also improved.

And Saudi Arabia didnt even speak in support of Pakistan after the NATO strikes. Everyone knows Saudi rulers are slaves of U.S. Pakistan also has the 2nd largest Shia population in the world, Zardari himself is Shia so the rulers of Pakistan dont care about Sunni-Shia conflict created by the west.

http://www.defence.pk/forums/pakistans-war/143747-oic-russia-china-put-weight-behind-pakistan.html

Pakistan-Iran have improved because Pakistan took on some elements of the Taliban which Iran hates. But its a far cry to count them as allies. As for Sunni-Shia conflict, there are daily bombings in Sunni-Shia conflict, or the fighting in Iraq, or the fighting in Yemen with Shia and Saudi Army. Are you gonna blame everything on the west without taking any ownership of it. As for Pakistan not caring about shias, tell that to the extremist Islamic parties who advocate jihad against Shias and are nurturing suicide bombers to kill shias.

More mosques have been blown up in Pakistan than in Iraq. Now that is a sad statement.

As for Russia, there is not a chance in hell they will ever side with us over India.

So come back to reality.

No, you said that Pakistan only has Saudi Arabia & China as allies. I told you, no nation is this world is an ally with another, it is all about mutual interests. And let me explain this, right now; Iran, Russia, China, Afghanistan, & to an extent, India; are opposed to the US presence in Afghanistan. Whether these countries are allies with Pakistan or not is frankly irrelevant: the fact of the matter is that their geopolitical, strategic interests in the region match with Pakistan's, & not with the US. The US is being left increasingly isolated in Afghanistan.

Pakistan's mutual interests are co-inciding with absolutely no one.

Pakistan's jihad policy is an abject failure. Pakistan hasn't liberated once inch of Kashmir but ruined its economy.

Iran was against Pakistan due it supporting the Taliban who hate shias. Russia is totally allied with India and won't budge. China cares only about its economy. If there is chaos in Afghanistan and Uygir Muslims kill Chinese, then China will turn against Pakistan too. As for Afghanistan, you should check the latest polls in which 90% of Afghans hate the Taliban.

Like I said before, can you guarantee that if US withdraws from Afghanistan and Taliban take over that the Al Qaeda won't come back and set up bases and start planning attacks?

^ Mosques have been blown in Pakistan ONLY after American invasion of Afghanistan.

Once America leaves our region and theres no American interference in our country. Pakistan will be as peaceful as before.

The west stirs up all these sect fightings.

From a Pakistani newspaper:

CIA ‘Black Night’ out to fuel sectarian strife in Muharram | Pakistan | News | Newspaper | Daily | English | Online

That article is full of conspiracy nonsense and has not an ounce of facts.

Mosques have been blown up long before US invaded Afghanistan.

This whole downward spiral started in 1980's when US/Pakistan/Saudi Arabia starting fuding jihadis to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan which brought Sunni extremists in Pakistan and started this whole mess.

Like I said, let Pakistanis worry about Pakistan, my Canadian friend.

Iran's parliament asks Pakistan to revise ties with U.S.

TEHRAN – In a statement issued on Wednesday the Iranian parliament called on Pakistan to revise its relations with the United States.

The statement, signed by 224 MPs, condemned the recent attack on the Pakistan army by U.S. forces and called on Pakistani lawmakers to revise Islamabad’s ties with Washington.

The statement came after NATO helicopters and fighter jets attacked two military border posts in northwest Pakistan on Saturday in which 24 Pakistani troops were killed. It was the worst incident of its kind since Islamabad allied itself with Washington in 2001 in the war on al-Qaeda and Taliban.

U.S. forces have shed bloods of Pakistan’s sons another time and made Muslims upset, the statement said, adding it neither was the first violent act nor will be the last one.

It's the time that Pakistani lawmakers respond to people’s request and take an effective strategy to prevent the U.S. from committing further crimes and violating Pakistan’s territorial integrity.

"We, as representative of the Iranian Muslim people, would like to extend our condolences to… the great nation of Pakistan," part of the statement said.

A senior Pakistani army official has said the NATO cross-border air attack was a deliberate, blatant act of aggression.

Name one event in Pakistan where a Mosque was blown up in Pakistan before U.S. came into the region.

You yourself are a conspiracy theorist.

Pakistan's jihad policy is an abject failure.

You shamelessly repeating the Western propaganda does not make it fact. Pakistan has no Jihadi policy, Pakistan is engaged in full on operations in the FATA & elsewhere, & has broken the back of the terrorists.

Iran was against Pakistan due it supporting the Taliban who hate shias.

Wake up kid, today is 2011. This is what is happening in the world today:

This is hogwash. Russia is not allied with India, China is not allied with Pakistan. All countries look out for their mutual interests, & Pakistan-China have damn good mutual interests. Russia is also falling into line with Pakistan. Just because Russia has good relations with India does not mean it cannot have strategic, critical relations with Pakistan either. And that is underway as the US is getting isolated in Afghanistan.

Isn't that what your CoAS said when OBL was famously looking on it from 800 yards from the Academy ?

You clearly haven't been following the events since. The violence in 2011 has decreased significantly to a record low (from the last 3 years) since the previous years, & close to 200 terrorists have been killed in the last couple of weeks alone.

Iran MP: Iran-Pakistan cooperation guarantees regional security, stability

Tehran, Nov 28, IRNA – Head of Iran-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ali-Akbar Aqaie, said on Monday that Tehran-Islamabad cooperation would guarantee security and stability of the region.

Aqaie told Pakistani Ambassador in Tehran Khalid Aziz Baber that Iranian Majlis deputies favor expansion of Tehran-Islamabad cooperation.

He said Tehran and Islamabad can guarantee security and stability of the region, fight terrorism as well as smuggle of narcotic drugs through close cooperation.

He added that the two sides should not let bullying powers divide them.

Khalid Aziz for his part appreciated Iran for its humanitarian assistance to Pakistani flood-torn people, saying the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been a pioneer in providing aid to Pakistanis and “has never left us alone.”

Calling mutual bonds “unbreakable”, he hoped that the two countries should upgrade mutual ties in all areas.
