Pakistan Super League (PSL) administration has decided to increase the quantity of tickets available to the general public for final match after witnessing the enthusiasm of cricket fans.

The tickets reserved for business enterprises will now be decreased and the remainder would be sold at the banks on Thursday.

However, the price of additional tickets has not been disclosed, while the tickets that were sold on March 1 were priced between Rs500 to Rs12,000.

On Wednesday, as ticket sales for the Pakistan Super League final began, desperate fans had to rush to local banks to book seats after the quota allotted for e-tickets sold out within hours.

Cricket enthusiasts from all over Punjab made their way to Lahore, hoping to find cheap tickets at local banks designated as selling points. However, their efforts were mostly futile, as one bank official told DawnNews that his branch had received only 10 tickets of Rs500 value.

DUBAI: Pakistan Super League got a big boost ahead of the Sunday's final as the owner of Peshawar Zalmi franchise Javed Afridi has announced that five of team's foreign players are ready to visit Pakistan if PZ qualifies for the final.

"Five of our players will come to Pakistan if Zalmi qualifies for the final in Lahore," Javed Afridi told geo.tv.

He further confirmed that Dawid Malan, Marlon Samuels, Darren Sammy, Chris Jordan & Samit Patel have already been issued visas for Pakistan.

Quetta has already qualified for the final of PSL, but all QG foreign players have refused to tour Pakistan.

The opponent of Quetta in the final will be known after final playoff between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi on Friday.

Javed Afridi said that agreement of Zalmi players is a huge news for Pakistan.

"This is a big thing and Peshawar Zalmi stands united with Pakistan and Pakistan Cricket," said Afridi.

I am a Karachi King supporter to want Karachi to win. But also want peshawar foreign players to come to Pakistan.

Agar peshawar nahi bhi qualify karta to yeh players aa jaye Pakistan. Changa manga ghoom lain gai.
