Should have just made Younis Khan Captain

Shagy and other performers were good , I wish they did not talabanize the dancers (Performers)

And .... Hafeez is gone 0 on frist ball that was quick

I will be supporting Quetta again, Karachi is owned by scumbags ARY, their behaviour was obnoxious because they made fun of other teams but played really bad in the tournament.

Personally I am a type of person severely against divisions in Pakistan on ethnic/linguistic/cultural/province/city basis. That is why I do not support any single team but want any which plays better to win. I can't fathom the idea that I support one part of the country over another. I think this thinking is very rare and even I find it hard to explain.

Afridi plays a shot. -DawnNews.

Islamabad United, chasing a target of 191, made a fiery start with hitting 14 off the first over. Openers Sharjeel Khan and Dwayne Smith built up the confidence of United in the opening match of the Pakistan Super League.

Peshwar Zalmi made 190 runs at the end of their innings after getting off to a shaky start, with Kamran Akmal stabilising the innings with his blistering 88.

Zalmi lost three wickets in quick succession between the 15th and 17th over, and seemed to falter at 169 runs after Akmal's departure.

Afridi made four runs off just as many balls, Sammy made seven off seven and Sohail made 12 runs off 14 balls.

Sammy came after Akmal but was caught on a wide delivery by Irfan. Afridi took to the crease after Sammy's early departure.

Malan was finally caught on a ball by Watson at 38. English T20 captain joined Akmal on the crease after his departure.

Morgan was bowled on a tricky delivery by Ajmal, and he had to look back and confirm his bails were off.

Islamabad United won by 7 wickets (with 2 balls remaining)

I supported Islambad united last season and they won trophy and also supporting them this season and they have ideal start .still long way to go and they are playing good cricket though they are not favourite of many if look at voting

:sarcastic: Could not defend 190 ..... so much for the aura of Pakistani Fast Bowlers

While do tend to lean towards Afridi's team yet I have to say , that was just a such a crazy performance after Umar Akmal's super human innings the other players all played dot balls :cray:

I did not think Islamabad United had it in them , but they suprised me , shocked me

Akmal = Impressive performance
Watson = Impressive , seems to have lost some weight has some fire

Tomorrow there will be tremendous pressure on Zalmi
