Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has held separate meetings with King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz in Makkatul Mukarrama
. During the meetings‚ the two sides discussed ways to promote bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.

During meeting with King Abdullah, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif discussed issues of mutual interest including bilateral relations and the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.
Saudi King warmly received Nawaz Sharif on arrival at the palace and felicitated him for becoming prime minister for the third time.

Nawaz Sharif thanked King Abdullah for the kind gesture and said that both the countries always helped each other in difficult times. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Hussain Nawaz were also present during the meeting. The prime minister also met Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz and discussed bilateral relations between both the countries.


Nawaz Sharif said there exist highly cordial and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia‚ which have stood to every test of time. He said the hearts of the people of the two countries beat in unison.


Sources added that the Saudi King and the Crown Prince also expressed good wishes for the government and people of Pakistan.

Off course also because Saudi Arabia was not very happy with Zardari I want to see them helping us getting lot of weapons and we need finance for that and also invest in energy sector but mainly defense
