My point was that naval strikes on targets far out in India from Sea will not effect the result of a fast moving ground war thousands of miles away. We do not seek to cripple Indias ability to fight (they are simply too large), but to defeat them on the battlefield. Two very different things.


I have studied war and do not need your patronising attitude, how old are you to type like this to me? My point is we do not need to strike targets far inland thousands of miles away in India. All PN has to do is keep IN off our backs and sea lanes open. Not bomb IN Eastern Command. Pakistan's fate will not be decided there.

Let me know if you understand that or I can explain again and draw it in crayon for you....

There is no news to tell really, Pakistan won’t be ordering anymore ships for a while, the PN already has so many lined up. The Type 054AP and the MILGEM, followed by the Jinnah, and those new submarines.

We heard about PN might be re-ordering the Romanian OPVs.

Chinese destroyers are mainly built in Dalian Shipyard and Jiangnan Shipyard.

There will be no order of Type 52Ds may be after few years from the induction of Type 54AP frigates

That’s correct.
The only big ships coming after the above will be the Jinnah class large frigates/destroyer, six ships in total based off the joint Pak/Turk project.

Yes for the foreseeable future. There may also be an off the shelf buy, like four more Type 54AP’s, which can be exercised.

No because your enemy is much bigger and you need to make sure that you cover all India's major installations and in south. Plus Harbah if used in Anti Ship Missile sector then we can only take and fire 6 from a ship. We need Ships which has at least 16 to 20 dedicated VLS for Land Attack Cruise Missiles of at least 1500 KM range.

PN needs subs equivalent to Ohio-class for the sea-based strategic deterrent to work.

For nuclear strikes yes. We need 3 such submarines. Either SLBM carrying or Cruise Missile carrying but 3 such subs are needed for our nuclear triad to complete.

Bhai why you're insisting 1500 km cruise missiles , let suppose we fire RAAD-1/2 within the 50-100 from IB with India so they strike 250/350 km respectively,all major Indian strategic targets are within this range,rest of the targets Will cover by Babar-1 ànd 2 with a range of 700/750 km respectively as well as our ballistic missiles

All modern wars would be fought with missiles like Tomahawk BLOCK V. A kind of missile with 2400 KM range and can hit fast moving ships and still targets on land with same accuracy. If you have that kind of missile you can stay within 50 KM of Gwadar coast and fire and hit Mumbai or Bengaluru and go a little further and then you hit Chennai and Hyderabad and few other cities in India south or even cities in India north if you want to hit them from your Naval ships.

THERE IS OTHER WAYS TO PROTECT OUR NAVAL ASSESTS IN SEAS, IN CASE OF WAR WITH INDIA OUR NAVAL ASSEST NOT FIGHTING ALONE IN SEAS, THEY PROTECTED OFTEN FIGHTER ESCORT, FROM UNDERWATER THEY PROTECTED BY OUR SUBS

AS FOR CRUISE MISSILES THAT HAVE A RANGE OF 1500 KMs HAVE CHANCE TO BE DESTROY WITH LAYERED DEFESE SYSTEM BY THE ENEMY, BECUASE THESE ARE SLOW ( ITS DOESN'T MATTER THEY HAVE TERRAIN HUGGING CAPABILITY) THEY HAVE STILL A CHANCE TO BEING INTERCEPTED BUT BALLISTIC MISSILES ARE VIRTUALLY UNSTOPPABLE
