Basically American and European cheek has bitten back on them..
Their sanctions have discouraged nations from relying on their weapons...
More sanctions and China will sell even more weapons and even more other stuff...
Another market china needs to look into is medicines...and pesticides...
USA and Europe use blockage of life saving drugs and pesticids as political tool to impose their will on nations...
We seen this in Iraq where children died due to lack of drugs and crops failed...
If china can offer alternative medicines and pesticides...many countries will be happy to buy from china than sanction prone western firms...

Salaam to all the Muslims,

:pakistan::china:

As expected, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has finally manged to free itself from the American camp after 65-years and has finally joined an alliance of equals with China.

Alhamdu'lillah. This was all achieved during the past 5-years of democratic-rule in Pakistan.

Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed tried to the same in the 1970s and he was hanged for it by the Pakistani Military. I wonder if history will repeat itself?

I can't wait to see all F-16s and Mirages in Pakistan Air Force replaced by JF-17 Thunders, J-10s and Shenyang J-21s.

Salaam to all the Muslims.

Yar ya to tu bohat bara hai........ya phir bohat hi bara hai.........

in either case "HANOOZ DEHLI DUER AST"

That is the example of making a statement for the heck of making a statement.
"See!, din even use any grey matter there".

Pakistan doesn't need to put all eggs in one basket; but at the same time Chinese have been more than cooperative and open-minded about our defense needs. Arms deals with them are not so political the way they are with US/EU. Pakistan will succeed if it can indigenize where it can, and work closely with time-tested partners like China to help maintain the capability of our forces

I'm happy to see that Chinese tech is advancing rapidly; Pakistan's increased procurement of naval/air force/army equipment from China is a testament to how much value we see in the partnership. Furthermore, Pakistan is now China's largest arms importer and meanwhile Pakistan is South Asia's largest arms exporter (in terms of revenues and sales volume)

Chinese know how to eat the cake and have it too in case of Pakistan. Just to tease India Pakistan is head on giving Chine their scarce money, land, higher than mountain slogan and what not but in return Xinjiang unrest: China blames unrest on Pakistan-trained terrorists – The Express Tribune

Many reason for Pakistan to buy from China.
1) Cheap.
2) Reliable supply and TOT to assemble.
3) US will not sell cutting edge because it can go to Chinese.
4) No other option.

1. Cheap does not necessarily means inferior in quality. Remember during 71 F-6 shot down Mig-21. So your assumption is not correct.
2. Every country needs to make sure that the supplier is reliable and when needed most shall not ditch. Nothing wrong with that.
3. US has already supplied F-16's, M-109A-5, P-3 Orion. These are advanced combat systems. Again if your logic is correct we should not have received these weapon systems.
4. We have other options available. Just that our policy makers at the moment are content with chinese technology.

I don't view the latest business between pakistan and china as a purchase,
I actually see it as a Technology transfer and mutual cooperation between two powers in asia to maintain stability and balance in the region.
Like that fighter jet that Pakistan and China are co-producing (if I remember correctly, it was JF-17 thunder right?) and others.

I think Pakistan should word hard for maker not buyer, so now Pakistan should buy some arms with
technology transfer to develop your nation defense industry. China nation defense industry is so.

Oho...now don't be angry :)...China's weapons will be bought by countries like Pakistan only. And most of Chinese weapons & fighter jets you buy haven't been part of any war, nobody knows how they'll work :agree:

No wonder we shot down ur Gnats,mig21s with our chinese built f-6s...
