Pakistan Bans Entry To Afghans Holding Visas For India

.
What will happen if india bans pakistani patients.Difference between india and pakistan

They (Pakistanis) will take their "business" elsewhere. The visa process is already hard as it is

@member.exe

See the difference between Pakistan and Afghans coming to India for life changing medical support!
Good for the Afghans. Then why come to Pakistan?

Possibly to get better services in India.

If Pakistan has good and cheap doctors like India does, Pakistan will get all the money.

Those coming to india are not rich, they can't spend 10 times the charge which they have to spend on US,UK.Visa process take time because some may come to india, pretending to be a patient.Do you think that all these patients are rich ! There are 1000's of cases coming to india for treatment from pakistan. There will be some pakistani patients who are rich and will come to india(For saving cost) or go to another country for treatment

For patients this is not business.Of course an indian hospital can charge double, if they think only business, then also they have no choice but to get treatment in india.Hospitals are basically not charity, they also need income for their day to day expenses.

.
Thank you India for providing cheap medicine to people all over the world and especially to Pakistanis. Having said that you to have to agree that many Pakistanis are denied an Indian visa. More than anyone else

....Visa process take time because some may come to india, pretending to be a patient.

Exactly given the current political scenario and India giving free visa to Afghans Pakistan too has to be vigilant. Not every Afghan is a genuine tourist, patient or businessman esp those travelling to and back from India. Since the people denied entry already have an Indian visa they can always go to India and like you said get cheap medical treatment. Though I do feel sorry for them.

Unfortunately the world of medicine is full incidents even in the developed world where a patient was denied treatment simply because he could not afford it. Are such decisions made by those medical institutions better or worse than the decision made by Pakistan? We are not doing it for money in fact we are dong it for national security. And then those Afghans can always go to India.

Well unlike the majority of Afghanis , Pak patients pay their medical bills , treatment of some medical conditions is costly in Pak, so they prefer India, not like that they would go to us or UK if India imposes a ban on medical visas for them :)

Ok, Afghans should come to India for medical treatments.

There are approx 5 to 10 million afghans in Pakistan, they are sick...please indian take them all through chabar port.

They do stuff because it suits their interests, while you and I are becoming a laughing stock.

Please care to explain this to Afghans who live on Pakistan hatred. Pakistanis want good relations with Afghanistan but not at the cost of Afghanistan eyeing for western Pakistan and becoming safe haven for anti Pakistan elements.

It's not the matter of cost only, since even pakistani's are coming to india for treatment, which they don't get in the country neither the doctors are capable to perform complicated cases and many other surgeries. So you can think what will happen for those coming from afghanistan to pakistan.

Conclusion- Those Afghanistan patients who are non critical or non complicated case will depend pakistan and critical and complicated case will prefer to come india. It will be more easy for afghanistan patient to reach pakistan, as both share border and travel expense will be cheap than india.

A pattern seems to be emerging.

Article here, excerpts below:

In a recent policy shift, India's traditional rival Pakistan has slapped new sanctions on Afghan nationals who have an Indian visa in their passports.

On Tuesday, director of Hamid Karzai International Airport, Jabbarkhail said that over the past few days Pakistan has deported or banned entry to at least ten Afghans after finding Indian visas in their passports.

...

"Airline companies are still informing the passengers that they can not take them to Pakistan if there is an Indian visa in their passport," said Mohammad Asif Jabbarkhail.

...

Muzghan Sulaimankhail is one Afghan who was denied entry into Pakistan because of an Indian visa in her passport.

"I went for medical treatment to Pakistan; when I arrived at the airport officials told me that they can not allow me to enter Pakistan because of the existence of an Indian visa in my passport," said Muzghan.
This is very unfortunate. Pakistan should reconsider this and open her borders to the Afghan people.

Pakistani doctors are equally capable of performing surgeries and other stuff like any other Asian doctor, It's all about economics nothing else like the liver transplant ,our doctors can do that here in Pak but patients prefer India to save extra money----

According to liver transplant experts at the Shifa International Hospitals, Islamabad, between 700 and 800 Pakistani patients undergo liver transplantation procedures abroad every year, spending about $4 million annually. Meanwhile, more than 500 Pakistanis have received liver transplantations in India so far. Hamid has no plausible option other than taking his ailing daughter to Delhi, as in Pakistan there are insufficient facilities for the procedure she requires.

It's like asking to a chinese, if they prefer to fly on a chinese aircraft maker or on a Boeing or Airbus.

I don't understand why @A-Team and the Indian members are upset about this arrangement. It is quite simple after all. If an Afghanistani can afford and prefer to go to India then that's your destination you can go there again. Heck why not make it your home for the next thirty years,as you have in Pakistan.
On the hand if you can not afford the air tickets or just don't like cows roaming on the road. Get a visa and come to Pakistan we will welcome as we have before.

This is just plain stupid.

It is good for India..

Indians are upset??? Rather all the smart Indian policy makers will be simply laughing for scheme of things that you are doing?? The more and more you would start harassing Afganistan people, it is easier for India to create a space which is not about war or violence rather more humanitarian approch towards ordinary Afgan people...the Rather we are simply waiting for the good news for Indian policy maker about when are you implementing this step.

Afgan people are all welcome to India for education, health and basic necessities...
