That is the sensor for the aircraft's Enhanced Vision System (EVS) - a combination of a visible low light and infra red video cameras which are combined together via computer into a composite image for display on either the PFDs or HUD in the cockpit. It provides better situational awareness in poor visibility and during night operations for the crew.

it was not one C-130 that day they were two aircraft one jetliner which gen.aslam baig was flying too .it took off after zia's c-130 .Gen Beg's jet circled over the burning wreckage for a moment and then continue flying to islamabad .

no its just protocol he should not fly on c-130 sir . we Pakistanis create so many stories . same incident of c-130 went in USA before zia crash too . but still GOD know what was reality .
