Burma to Purchase Chinese-Pakistani JF-17 Fighter Jets

Chinese are committed to their J-10, J-16 and 2 fight generation projects right now and are marketing J-10. FC-1/ JF-17 marketing and export is in Pakistan's domain . it might change in future due to equal partnership but there are no indications. I have so far failed to see any marketing pitch , exhibition or flight display by the Chinese partners of FC-1 .. but if you have then do share it.

just dont pass a judgent because you dont like the Idea of Pakistan selling an aircraft.

Either way Pakistan and China will earn from this deal. It really depends on who is able to produce the order. Currently, only Pakistan mass produces this aircraft, China however is technology capable enough to do so.

We will see if Pakistan can commit to this order considering we rather need to pace up to increase our own production for local consumption.

Earning money from the first sale should not be the goal---. The money will come from the sale of the sapres and accessories later on.

I work for a company that has its head office in Oregon started by a group of ex US army engineers after WW2 in their garage. although we sell items from 5k to $1M or more but its the service element of invoices in the range of 5o dollars to 500 dollars or more that drive our business and run in billions of dollars.

People [new ones] don't be mistaken, if suppose everything is true Myanmar could receive limited license to manufacture/produce Aircraft hull/fuselage-wiring-landing gear etc, canopy [although highly unlikely]...radar, other electronics package, ejection seat and other critical components/equipment would come from both China and Pakistan. It is not a cake walk to award a complete TOT to a country like Myanmar or even Egypt, besides Egypt will find itself crippled in War for choosing Mig-29s.

The package could also be sweetened if KJ-200 is added.

Not just that, any future foreign pilots for JF-17 would have to go to PAF for training, as PAF pilots are the only ones with operational squadrons and weapons.
