I don't think India is going to attack pakistan anytime soon as Ukraine crisis are up. It will take atleast 5 years to recover. Second, India is engaged with China on LAC, so obviously can't open second front.
Third, India have learnt a lesson from Russia and sanctions from the west that you can't attack a country first and be an aggressor. It has consequences.
Fourth, Pakistan has nukes. India can't attack Pakistan unless untill Pak has active nukes and risk its own population.
There are so many reasons for India not to attack Pakistan anytime soon. But still these guys hike defense budget in a huge economic crisis.
