It's actually a crazy idea originating from people who are too lazy/ disinterested to vote anyways. This is the "none of the above" idea. Since none of the above cannot represent the people in Parliament/assembly, all that this does is to waste money conducting reelections. The silly assumption is that a candidate appealing to this particular lot would also appeal to others(the one voting presently). What if that doesn't happen & you can never gain a consensus? Would you keep voting & wasting taxpayers money for all the 5 years & then repeat the process for the next house?
