PAF & Rafale Story Will Not Go Away !

That is highly unlikely. The Arabs are greedy albeit rich. Plus, Qatar is A Saudi pet and Saudi is in bed with Uncle Sam. Saudi can't even breath without approval from the yanks.
In the time of high tension, I have no doubt the Katari Rafaels will “defect” to Pak!!! Double down on the Hindutva scums....

You're wrong on the Katrai leaders!!! El-Sa'ni family has been Sa'dik folks since the Ottoman times...

Let's stop this debate. Even if PAF pilots sat on those Rafales, it does very little to translate into battlefield advantage for us. PAF pilots should be training on thunders and vipers instead of Rafale bcz no amount of training is enough. When the push comes to shove, it will be better trained and tactically superior who will prevail.

I don't know history but I know the present. Qatar is too fragile of a country to have an independent foreign policy. Uncle Sam will threaten them with sanctions are ensure that no Rafale ever moves out of Qatari airspace.

Uncle Sam is long gone!!! It's Uncle Trump now!!! He only see the bottom-line - even his kids are no exceptions....

I don't understand what all the fuss is about??

Even if the story is true it is not such a big deal. It would only mean that PAF would be able to size up the threat that Rafale poses. It wouldn't eliminate or even mitigate that threat.

Getting access to a plane flown by your enemy via a firendly airforce who also operates it is no big deal. Most air forces would do that. As pointed out here by others indians too have access to israeli knowledge of F-16's and others like singapore etc. and Israelis work quite closely with indians. They could teach a lot about F-16's.

To really counter rafale for PAF, getting access to it via qatar etc. would only be a very small step in the process. A lot more is required, and the only true counter would be getting advanced planes of our own. There maybe real challenges to that but the job is to overcome them.

IAF weapons are customer specific and have many differences.

Fake news which was intially picked up Indian media but later denied by French Ambassador himself.
Don't bother quoting until you can provide concrete proof that Ambassador was wrong.

“Customer specific” like the Su-30mkis which were fighting each other to exit the battle-space on February 27th lol

Read the story on GlobalVillageSpace earlier. No source at all. Just speculations and imaginations.

PAF should rather focus on acquiring at least an Sqn strength of J-20s

Fake news. Qatar didn't give Pakistani IP access to Rafael. Pakistani IP's are station in Qatar airbases to teach basic flying lessons. But not more than that.

I remeber a Qatari News Channel telling this news. They have a much better explanation that PAF pilots were trained on those Rafales to expertise there own (QAF) pilots as they are inferior in experience. None of these words are mine I heard it on Arabic channel (will add the name if I found it again). And also I can speak Arabic so I translated it myself not from google.

Qatari pilots were sent to France to train on Rafaels. The same pilots who were flying Mirage-2000 before. If there were Pakistani Pilots in them, their pics would've been leaked by now

What if I tell Teja that I know someone who is still flying Rafael as an instructor pilot for Qatar airforce???

There's an active duty Squadron leader on deputation to Qatar Air force teaching them Basic Flying skills and with Mushaqs that qatar purchased, their focus is on them. Back in late 90's, early 2000's Ex F-16 pilots who got retired were teaching Qatari pilots to fly mirages and stuff. The pilot whose F-16 got damaged due to wild bore running across F-16 during take off, He was in Qatar for considerable time. But as the time progressed and end user agreements become evolved and more stringent, IP's must be qataris but once Rafael lands in Qatar which Pilot fly the Rafael is where the gray area lies.

Qatar has 2 seater Rafaels. PAF pilots can ride it as GIBS.

what about qatri?
.
.
there are lots of Pakistani origin Qatri in QAF. :)

That's a wrong claim. Some Qatari Air defense controllers might be Pakistani's and only Pakistani Pilot that is in QAF right now is on Deputation and stick mostly to Qatari Super Mushaks, Mirage-2000 and providing Basic Flight skills

Everything you wrote in response to my post is almost all incorrect.

But again I am expected to keep my lips together
