Thanks couldn't find it
That's only confirmation by FO and nothing more. Yet PAF is still refusing to comment.

as a civilian all you need to value is what foreign ministry says.
if needs be to counter any arguments. more details will be released to the public along with evidences and everything.

so till then make do with this. the way the statement is written shouldn't leave with many doubts if you are accustomed to diplomatic English language with enough clear message in between the lines.

That's what I wrote in post 639. Matter is handled wisely enough which is rare in Pakistan foreign affairs history.

We shot down the drone and FO gave the statement only when Military told them to give one. When you read the statement you would know it's PAF and ISPR which has sent it FO just publish it

Sorry actually I am debating with a pro Iranian Guy and even after FO statement he says he would wait for ISPR statement because he doesn't trust FO

The stationary camera makes it clear it was not a drone.
Do you even know what a drone is capable off....besides did you miss the statics which appear on the screen.

You mean the local Pakistan Iranians a.k.a soldiers more loyal to Iran than Iranian themselves.
Yes these local Pakistani Iranians are extremely upset on this incident. They would be happy if Iranians had shot down a Pakistani jet inside Pakistani territory.

Mkg, I am now hearing from my sources that AWACS was used. Interested in whether your sources have changed on that front. :)
No AWACS was used. The GCI was guiding the pilot and was picked up by another place not Karachi. The response was from Karachi. Take my word. I don't want to go into too much details. That JF 17 waited for F 14 to show up because it was loaded in air to air mode and also went into .... for about ... min , to see if there is another one or something else will show up, but the other side decided not to engage JF17 because they felt PAF is in serious mood and they don't want to be headline news of khaleej times.

There is no official stance even from PAF, ISPR or Pakistan Foreign Office. BBC website says, PAF replied "No Comments" upon calling.

It seems there had been multiple violation of Pakistani territory by Iranian UCAVs. Finally showed a response they deserved and Pakistan decided to keep lips tight to avoid any escalation. Neighbors got the message. Hopefully they would not repeat their mistake.
I sure hope so. Iran needs to understand that within the Muslim world it is only Pakistan which has chosen to remain neutral, in fact even support Iran and try to bridge gap between Iran and SA. Every body else is gunning for Iran so is the West and Israel. Iran needs to tread carefully before they create another enemy.

TomCat showed up? That would be awesome.

It didn't . That's what PAF waited for. I think air space violations happened in the past and it was mostly around border areas , and due to friendly country PAF let it go . but this time it was enough and came way inside our territory, so it was PAF saying bring it on, let's have a go at it. If you can come into our area with a UAV we can go into your area with an armed fighter jet. They thought our military is only monitoring the Indian border, but they were wrong. It also shows how good our assets are at different altitudes and how we deal with it.
It brough a smile to my face when I read sleep well PAF is awake.
