KARACHI:- A JF-17 fighter aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed into the Arabian Sea on September 27 during Exercise High Mark, a private TV channel reported on Saturday. The aircraft, operating from PAF Base Masroor, was on a routine night mission when the accident took place. It is reported that the pilot had ejected safely. The search and rescue operations are being conducted by the Pakistan Navy employing Navy seeking helicopters, P3C Orion aircraft and SR vessels.–Monitoring Desk

ISLAMABAD – Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in PM House on Monday and briefed the premier about operational preparedness and training of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

Sohail Aman and Nawaz Sharif also discussed the future targets of PAF and its strategies. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz also attended the meeting.

Nawaz Sharif praised the role of Pakistan Air Force in country’s defense, and said it has full capability to defend its air borders and to overcome any sort of challenge or threat.

This is 10 to 12 meeting in past three to four months between Air Chief and PM. If some one wants to suggest these are routine meetings no they are not. Nawaz and Air Chief never meets this often. Air Chief wants something and PM as usual is creating trouble.

In army circle there are rumors and table talk that air chief wants at least two squadrons of 4+ Gen fighters. But he is not getting required funds and approvals for Govt.
As per table talk Air Chief wants to induct F16 block 52+ or J-10 since Russian backed off from Mig 35 offer.

PAF chief should have met Gen. Bajwa instead because his one call to P.M made his legs jelly and funds would be available same time.

But you said that Su35 (which here have been mistakenly written as Mig i believe) is "sure to come" and that "it is absolutely going to come" and also "i am 100% sure Su35 is coming" and some suggestion to "wait and see" etc etc.

The good news for you however is that you have said the SAME about:

and with Rafale going to India already and Gripen a likely prospect for them too (they are already involved with the engine for LCA) you have got all our bases covered to say "i told you so" and that "i have been right many times in the past:

Not my fault dear, you remember i had a conv. with you about an year or so ago? telling you exactly that this will happen. That you will lose all crediability and anything you say will be taken as a rumor. The reason i explain was that this is what you get for associating Pakistan with EVERY MILITARY HARDWARE that rolls out. I mean, check at the list of the planes you have "confirmed as coming" and "100% sure of the deal" of PAF. Any sensible person will see what you are doing! Associating all possible planes that fly with PAF so you can just shameless ignore the ones that never happened and cheer with a "i told you so" and "i have been right many times" for that one plane that ends up with PAF. ALL THE PLANES I MENTIONED IN THE LIST, ZARVAN have confirmed them coming to PAF at some time or another. This is who you roll!! The same is for a APC, and MRAP, assault helicopter and every freaking thing.

Credibility will never be established based on the things that happened from 900 things you said but based on the things that never happened from that HUGE list.

PAF is looking for a fighter jet and they would get it. Only delay is happening because of Nawaz and PML N Government but it seem there days are over or will be really soon so soon things will get fast.
