What I mean is this is without a doubt false- India is by FAR Russia's largest buyer of arms and at the same time the Russians are/were reluctant to sell any high-end tech/hardware to the Chinese for fear of IPR infringements.

Dont know about reluctance but they share full TOT of there latest tech at the end. Su 27/30 series Flankers that are basis of J11 and J11b, the Su33 Series of Flankers that are base of J14, The S300/400 series of Surface to air missiles are similar to HQ-9. currently Su35 is being transferred. The TOT of Mig33 Project and Technical support for FC-1 are just a few examples
If a country is seriously concerned for TOT Transfer to the other country they will never repeat the same mistake.

Goal for Pakistan should be 150 F-16s, 250 JF-17s, 50 J-20s and 100 J-31s, with some number of F-7s if possible.

150 F-16s If we can get them from any country. Most of them F-16As to save money for J-20s and J-31s.
250 JF-17s all should be atleast block 2, if all are block 3 that would be good for PAF.
50 J-20s because J-31 might not be available sooner. Final number should be 75 J-20s after the purchase of 100 J-31s.
100 J-31s atleast. 150 J-31s should be the goal.
50-75 F-7s if we have money to maintain them. We can replace them with other jets later.

We should work on JF-17s now and wait for F-16s, J-20s and J-31s to become available. If there there is a delay in getting F-16s, J-20s and J-31s then go for 50 J-10s. Mirage 2000-9 should be last choice for PAF.

Nonsense-the Russians never gave ToT to the Chinese for the Su27/30 series, the Chinese infringed on their IPRs and reverse engineered the J11 and J11B:

Russia refused to sell Su-33s to China, when it was noted that China was making illegal copies of the Su-27 (as the J-11), and did not want to place a big order for Su-33s, but only wanted two, for "evaluation." China eventually got a Su-33 from Ukraine, which inherited some when the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991.

Su-35 orders haven't been placed so how can ToT be being transferred to the Chinese?

The logic and need is simple one. These planes can easily replace older Mirage III/V or F-7 and also improve PAF's capability.

I put J-1x because PAF can opt for any in many variant from J-11, J-15, J-16, J-17, that is why I said J-1x.

Basically we have very good opportunity now, because after Ukraine crisis much have changed for Russia and they need China on their side more then India, and China have given them $400 Billion deal which supersede all Indian business deals, so China is in good position and if we push China they can purchase Su-35s and resale them on soft loans to us while having guarantee from Russia for supply of spares and equipment, it may also be good way for Russia as they will have a face saving way to sell weapons to Pakistan. On other hand if Su-35 are not possible we China can provide their versions of flankers with Russian components as they may be needed for quick delivery of the platform.

Also it should be noted that Sino Flanker have reduced RCS due to extensive use of RAM and reshaping of air intakes.

We can buy downgraded versions of these jets and upgrade them later. We bought Block 1 JF-17s and we will upgrade them later. This way we can get jets which initially costs less. That will solve some problems faced by PAF.
