One Of The Fastest Cars In The World In Now On Sale In India - Nissan GT-R

Should we compare
What your going to tell me madam that India, a country that has over 21% of it's population living below $1.90 is driving latest Nissan's sports cars? Just for your comparison the figure for Pakistan is just 6%. And these figures are not from some private pressure group/think tank but from a relatively more, not of course absloutely but more impartial source.

This might well explain why over 2 million in India are the automotons who pull the rickshaws instead of being sat behind the steering wheel.

1989!!!
A person is not judged by what he did in his past but by what he does in his present.
I hope you got the drift of it.

I know for sure that Pakistan's automobile industry is declining day by day. One of my Pakistani friend told me that companies release pretty trimmed off version of European and Japanese cars in Pakistan e.g. Toyota Corolla XLi .
Not so long back this is what used to happen in india too. But now it has changed.

Should we compare Indian automobile industry with that of Pakistan's?
Ready?

Declining ..o_O.. Are you kidding me.. Our auto industry have touched the bottom line ... Where we can decline from this? when we have to buy this SHI*ty Toad for 700000+ Rupees

Ha, talking about poverty when the topic is automobile industry-that's so typical of you.

Meanwhile the percentage of undernourished population in Pakistan is 22% & stunting in 5 year old has increased to 45%. And we should believe this 6% data ?

Indian car exports four times of Pakistan's total car production

Oh my god! approx 3.5 Lakh INR for this car? This is a loot. We had similar car called Maruti 800 in 90s and now its production has stopped and they are hardly on road. These cars though were most 90s family's first car in India, are unsafe, and look ugly. For the same price we can get better cars in India with better facilities and better look.

What is the justification for such a high price? Is there no regulation by govt or do they enjoy monopoly?
They would be making huge margin if they have priced it so high, and if average Pakistani family are ready to spend 4.5 INR lakh for this car then I think average Pakistani is richer because no Indian would pay that much amount for this dustbin.

Nissan gtr is pathetic. It doesnt have that feel that grunt neither the class.

I dont think many car lovers will buy it.

I don't know man .I heard some where that these companies pay heavy taxes to Government so not to let any other competitor enter the market..Suzuki ,toyota and Honda..And belive me This is what average pakistani family spend on this tin toad ..But things are changing not fast but changing for sure..

I hope things change because if someone is spending this much they deserve better. You don't have to be a millionaire to enjoy the comfort of a sedan.

Look at this car which is a favorite among Indian middle class family and is priced at same range as Mehran.

You live in UK and you think you know your country better than those living in Pakistan?

Yes. I heard about it.

I'm sorry to say @Kaptaan if I were to give you an idea how well your automobile industry is performing at the moment then let me tell you India adopted World Safety standards for cars in 2013 after many Indian cars failed the safety tests which included TATA, RENAULT, MARUTI & MAHINDRA etc.
But Pakistan automobile industry still doesn't follow these standards.
Unfortunate but true.

If only trade could be easier among our countries. I am sure importing cars from India would be much cheaper than from Japan or Europe. Also, in an ideal situation if Pakistan allows Indian companies to setup shops in Pakistan, it would be a win-win situation for both the countries. But sadly reality is something very different today.

.
you know your country better
Yes. Sometimes being further away gives you better idea of lay of the land. You see I get this a lot. If your lost you need to be in high, vantage point to get your bearings. You live in the West, you are this and that. I often get this.

But if you look at the men who played vital role in the making of Pakistan, they all had spent significant amount of time abroad and were quite comfortable in the Anglo-culture. Jinnah with his impeccable suits, to Rehmat Ali who coined the name 'Pakistan' in Cambridge to Sir Allama Iqbal.

And of course if I am allowed to say so, I am sure you will allow me to indulge, I do have fine mind which places me above the run of the mill crowds here !

Of course you are at liberty to indulge me in more - I am all, there and more in expectation of you.

Ciao ......
