If the people of "Jammu and Kashmir " really desired freedom, they would have been free long back. No one can suppress and deprive any country/state for so long in the current world. Moreover there aren't many records for great freedom movements/revolt in J&K up until 1989, why the majority of the people who had first hand experience of 1948 and 65 were not eager enough for freedom ??

Dude at present China doesn't have that much capacity and capability to store so much amount of water that can hurt India. That said even India don't have the capacity to block and store the water that belongs to Pakistan at present, and I'm pretty sure you know how many years it takes to build a dam. Just like I have said in my previous comments, neither India or China have the capacity and capability to block and store the water of these river's under consideration. But with the proposed dam projects in progress and on paper, if completed within stipulated time can give India a real chance of doing it. But that will take years, until then scrapping IWT is nothing more than a political gimmick.

Believe me, not only Indus and Brahmaputra that are from Tibet, some important tributary rivers that your sacred river such as Ganges also depend it on, if China seal all border water flow indirectly to your mighty polluted Ganges river, 400 millions Indians will be on panic, it require only 2% drop of the water level then India will be on total Chaos.
