Just to put the record straight. I am a Londoner for last 40 years. Before Rockford Place in Surrey, Benazir and Asif Zardari had and still have a flat in Knightsbridge. Nawaz Sharif has a flat on the Park Lane. Both of these places are the most expensive and poshest areas of London. Property there is probably the most expensive (except Tokyo) in the world.

Edgware (Not Edgware Road are near Marble Arch) is in the North West of London. I live in Northwick Park myself, not far from Edgware. This is a relatively modest area, though not run down but not comparable to posh London suburbs such as Hampstead, St Johnswood, Southgate or Swiss Cottage.

Doesn't Altaf Hussain reside on Edgeware road and another thing isn't the office still not funded by the Karachiites and last but not the least isn't owning a whole floor of offices a bit posh to say the least considering that atleast Nawaz's office and houses are bought by the Ittefaq group.

First of aslaam Niaz and great to see you.;)

Do the above politicians come from the slums are there families the poorest of Pakistan. These properties are no phenomena niaz if they bought them in foreign countries they bought them for the very reason of exile, brought to you by our beloved dictators. Political leaders aren't safe in Pakistan either they are sent on death row or there exiled, niaz its pick and choose.

Oh please, now don't say that NS is from a rich family and his late abba ji left the Itefaq Group for his sons. I have personally met an egineer who was forced to certify good P. Railway engines so that they can be sold to Itefaq Group at a very very low cost.

Secondly, Bhutto family owns the land which belong to the people working on those lands. There is so much corruption money floating in Bhutto accts whihc is beyond imagination.

Not an MQM man so have no idea where Altaf Hussein lives. The address mentioned above is in Edgware, which is in Middlesex County and post code is HA8 ( Harrow Post Office). I live in the HA3 post code area also of Harrow Post office. You will also notice that tel. starts with 0208 which is code for the London suburbs.

My solicitor has an office on the Edgware Road. This is in central London area and post code is W2 ( west 2 xxx). Tel numbers of central London areas begin with 0207.

The address in the HA8 7JL is defintely not in area classifed as 'Posh'.

I have 2 interesting tales to tell of NS and his Ittefaq group.
One involving a course mate of my father and one narrated by my Uncle (Chacha).

1) In the 80s some equipment was frequently being stolen from a railway facility near Lahore and once or twice even the railway guard was gagged, bound and left helpless.
An Army detachment was also posted in immediate vicinity and one day they caught the perpetrators who were stealing high quality railway steel.
Guess who they were working for...:)

2) In the 90s my Uncle was in FF Regiment and based in Sialkot. One day while on a routine patrolling exercise they came across a very interesting sight. A freight train was standing on the railway track going towards India near the border and workers were dismantling the railway track and loading the steel onto the train.
The officers had a little talk with the party since it was a border area and railway lines are also a strategic asset.
It was discovered that steel was being removed upon the royal decree of GOP aka NS.

Anyhow that is what we are stuck with for now.
People with ill begotten wealth who claim to strike a common cause with the masses.

Hell Yeah it makes me feel good when i pay many many times more tax than the Jack O'Lantern of Islam Maulana Fazal Ul Rehman who owns multiple Land Cruisers :enjoy: ... But surely he is just enjoying the Lord's Bounty whereas i am working just for money and hence cannot expect the same reward.
;)

My statement was not meant as a personal attack, but as a cry of despair, an expression of just how weak democracy is in Pakistan, that people have more faith in a usurping general than in an elected president.

He is not a general anymore and his supporters have the right to support anyone they wish to support. At this point people see Gen Musharraf as a person who is very patriotic and honest.

People also compare his tenure with that of the Nawaz Sharif's and the PPPP's and find that Pakistan was first time on the right track.

Last but not least, General Musharraf atleast has the decency and courage to accept his mistakes unlike NS and the PPPP who always blame the previous regime for all ills.

.
He is no longer holding any office. He is an ordinary person, like me and you. He has no political or any kind of future in Pakistan so he and his comments are irrelevant. He has touched to such lows that he was visiting Pir Pagara in his Kangry House. Who cares what he is saying? On the other hand each and every move of Zardari and NS is under the microscope. Are they representing the sentiments of Pakistanis, 'No', but Musharraf's bickering would change anything, answer is also 'No'. ‘So’ choohey kha kar billi hajj ko chali’.

My dear you are absolutely wrong. He is a retired army general and COAS and belongs to very scared class of cows and still that "eid ul adha" has not come in our unfortunate mother land that people of Pakistan could slaughter this kind of scared cow. Any thing can happen in Pakistan’s political system. Someone has already shown his eagerness to cast his vote in his favor. This type of people can win from any seat in Pakistan and you have to agree with me on this that votes are secondary issue for win. Two referendums and influence of agencies is not a hidden story now. 2002 election is a “state of art” example of work of these “angles”.

.
The only voice that rose to defend Pakistan military.

Gen. Musharraf is the most loyal, devoted and valiant leader Pakistan had in decades. Even out of office, his exemplary devotion to Pakistan is undeniable.

We miss you sir.

This is really tough time in north America, people are struggling for jobs and trying hard to survive. In general there is great stress and depression but as we all know God is very merciful and made situation like this for people to laugh:yahoo::yahoo::cheesy:
