Saudi Arabia alone has 514 AIM-120 C5 AMRAAM missile and 500 AIM-120 C7 AMRAAM missile
Morocco has about 750 AMRAAM C5 and C7
Now add the UAE, Jordan, and Bahrein..

The thing is that they are already contained in those two small cities in the North of Morocco..boycotted by Moroccans for the last few years.. it just a question of time for Spain to give them back or just keep supporting the Spaniards there who's trade and commerce is dead..but the fact now is that Spain itself is in deep trouble economically..!!!

Who is Morocco arming against. I have been there 3 times and lived ech experience. Its a poor country with many shortages especially education and medicine. These purchases are a waste

I been there too, they are lovely people. Always leave the tourists areas and go and meet the locals in their areas. The food is much butter and you get to see the real hearts of the real people.

Egypt did not receive AMRAAM munitions from USA due to Israeli pressure - this is the shortcoming (Egyptian F-16s are advanced jets otherwise). Egypt should attempt to develop its own BVR missile instead.

Americans are selling AMRAAM munitions to other Arab countries.

This is the 33rd AMRAAM production lot and involves sales to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, according to a Defense Department contract announcement. The Pentagon did not say how many missiles are included in that lot.

F-35 is VLO class combat aircraft - it really frustrates target acquisition from the opposing jet fighter until it is operating really close to one forcing a potential aerial engagement in WVR regime. Although, F-35 would grant its pilot ample window and opportunity to shoot down opposing jet fighter in BVR regime beforehand. Even if the opposing aircraft is 5th generation level of really close, potential aerial engagements are likely to occur in WVR regime but F-35 offer 360 degree situational awareness to the pilot and produce target acquisition in ways not possible in other jet fighters on average. It can get really messy.

Could be but also remember that Zia didn’t find the Taliban ideologies problematic as many minorities in Pakistan suffered under his rule as did Pakistani culture which is the same for Afghanistan under the Taliban.
So I haven’t seen anything to say that Zia was compromising his ideals when supporting the Taliban.

I think KFX/IFX is good for countries who needs to have fighter with larger range than F35. It is also much more agile since it follow F 22 design and has better speed than F 35.

KFX/IFX is also since the start is design to have several hard points that include hard points for 2 fuel tanks while F 35 with fuel tanks will really destroy its advantage at STEALTH.

Any way although KFX block 1 has less STEALTH than F 35, it doesnt say the plane will be lost in any combat with F 35. There is electronic counter measure device in the plane.
