More LCA Tejas For The IAF: $5.2 Billion Deal For Mark 1A Variant To Be Signed By December,

I dont think it is possible, 10 planes per year has already been very good by seeing how many Indian produce Tejas currently. Having 20 planes production per year will require more investment and it will reduce the profit of companies who are going to produce it.
HAL has produced 12 Su-30 MKI and 7 Tejas at peak production in 2018.
As Su-30 orders were ended now entire HAL fighter production will switch to Tejas.
Lmao 🤣 when HAL is producing only 6 jets per year you shouldnt be saying we are a head of Pakistan in terms of aerospace industry
HAL produced 12 Su-30 and 7 Tejas in 2018.
BTW Su-30 is twice the size of JF-17

All 83 delivered before end of 2027. 20 per year delivery rate

Same thing can be said about Chinas help to Pakistan
And how will it be achieved?🤔 20 jets is target when you cant even produce 10 per year as of now.. only 6 in 2020..

And China is helping in joint projects...

CCS clearance and contract signing are same.
Their is nothing in the world above CCS when it comes to India's defence:

Well lets wait for the contract to be signed than.

20 jets per year is a bollywood Fantasy. I guess Adani and Ambani or other Corporates will jump in to milk the Indian Cow.

OK then, HAL may already have capacity to produce 20 per year then. The engine is still F 404 right ? Not yet F 414. Regardless of that GE will be very happy to hear this news as well.

Mate do you think HAL will use Su30 facilty for production of Tejas ?

Tejas is different not only in shape but subsystems and you thinking HAL will be able to switch production 🤣

And true Su30 is twice the size of JF17 and is in another league of we have to compare..

And we are talking about outout of Tejas production facility which has hardly reached 10 jets per year on average...

Pakistan has different production facilities and JF17 production facility has output capacity of 20 but usually makes 16 to 17..

Irrespective of what people claim its a potent platform and this clearance just shows the confidence we have in Tejas.

If the production line moves to produce 16-17 aircrafts per year,we are looking at approximate addition of 1 indigenous 4gen Fighter aircraft squadron every year plus foreign purchases.

Wonderful... finally this was cleared. First few MK1A's are already on the production floor and may be ready in no time. With HAL ramping up the production rate it will be much quicker.

But the game changer will be AMCA for me.... hope we hear some good news on that front.

Will it participate in Indian Republic Day Parades......on regular basis.

It shows Indian is not going to fight Chinese, but smaller adversary, Pakistan, instead. I hope Pakistan dont buy China J 20/J31 so that you can still produce JF 17. Buying J 20/J 31 will make India buy F 35 or more Rafale.

NO, Actually.

All depends on role! HAAL tejas is going to use as defense aircraft. HAL Tejas Mk1a with ASEA and AA missile with range over 150 KM will be enough to counter any chinese 4th Gen fighter.

About Pakistan, It would just same kind of similar capability as Jf17 block3 but the role of Jf 17 is different.
Lmao 🤣 when HAL is producing only 6 jets per year you shouldnt be saying we are a head of Pakistan in terms of aerospace industry 🤣

We have a govt aerospace industry under PAC which in nearly 50 years has developed an ecosystem of different aspects of aerospace industry... latest being Kamra Aviation City...

And Pakistans private industry players are more interested in UAVs and UCAVs and are producing them too...

Anyways keep this we have "leaped ahead" attitude.. it helps us a lot..

India has produced and assembled more then 20 Su 30 mki in a year just like PAK is assembling Jf 17.

HAL is developing and manufacturing HAL Tejas, HAL LCH, HAL HTT40, HAL Dhruv Etc.... list can go on.

It is not a big task by the way...

Yes we admitting it, everyone in the world knows that China helping us, unlike you you who are insisting your Tejas is 100% indigenous
Hero, tomorrow when you build it entirely then it is called indegineously (even though you took help of China to build JF17)
