You haven't proved that the EU has supported the PKK. All you've proved is that they've been soft on them for fear of upsetting Kurds living in Europe. The US was very soft on the IRA in order to please Irish Americans.

Is nobody going to ban this poster for calling for the extermination of an entire race of people?

I don't get it, after all NATO = North Atlantic Terrorists Organization...

I said: Europeans use them. Supporting is done openly. Using is done secretly.

Nevermind, PKK drug gangs operate freely in European streets injecting poison into European youth. Your problem. On our side, We here deal with them harshly.
But why? Turkey was an ally of Europe until very recently. What interest would breaking Turkey up serve? Europe did support Iraqi Kurds but they are completely different politically to Turkish ones. In fact Erdogan right now is probably trying to bring about an independent Iraqi Kurdistan.

What would be the purpose of destabilising Turkey which was a close ally until very recently?
close ally till it refused to clean up the mess militarily and take responsibility on its own while its western allies are providing mere air support from thousands kilometers away while Turkey also has done way more than any European country so far? with such friends you dont need enemies. give and take. if not, the west better find a new ally. the pkk and pyd seem very eager. besides, since when has this become a nato issue? then where were these western allies in our fight against pkk? pkk supporters are running amok in Europe. drug dealing, their own training and recruiting camps, their own 'cultural centers' (literally pkk propaganda centers), media describing pkk as mere militias and freedom fighters while they are on the terrorist list etc. if you are honest, please compare Europe's firm and strict behavior against al qaeda or other extremist group supporting muslims in Europe with the weak and reluctant behavior Europe shows to pkk supporting Kurds. In my opinion Europe is nothing but turning a blind eye in the name of 'asylums, freedom of speech'

1) Greater Armenia?
2) Take back Northern Cyprus?
3) Control of Straits?
4) Control of Pipelines?
5) Greater Kurdistan?
6) Create a Second Israel in the middle of the Middleast?
7) Water sources in the middleast? Euphrates and Tigris, two biggest.
8) Oil wells around Kirkuk, Erbil, Hasakah, and southeastern Turkey!?

Nobody helped Britain when we fought the IRA. Nobody helped Spain when they fought the ETA

Armenia is an ally of Russia not Europe. Again please show me hard proof that Europe supports the PKK rather than one incident in Austria and the sympathy of the French president's wife.

Officially Europeans are clean. They dont give money or arms.

But... They allow PKK do drug business, walk freely on the European streets (apart from occasional assassinations), collect racket money, brainwash potential recruits...

Greeks, Greek Cypriots are another issue. USA is a bit different, either.

US report reveals PKK drug trafficking network
A report released this month by the US State Department reveals that the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) has drug trafficking networks based in Moldova and Romania. The 2013 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCSR) was prepared by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs in the State Department.

The report also refers to a “major crackdown on drug trafficking by the PKK in southeast Turkey” in July 2012 with the participation of around 1,700 Turkish police and soldiers. Stating that in recent years “many ethnic Kurdish traffickers have expanded operations to larger cities in Turkey and other countries in Europe,” the report says that “many major drug traffickers in Turkey are ethnic Kurds or Iranians.”

The report defines Turkey as a “significant transit country” for the transport of illicit drugs. According to the report, heroin, opium and cocaine are generally trafficked through Turkey to European markets, and methamphetamine and amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) are trafficked to buyers in the Middle East and elsewhere in Asia.

The State Department report reads, “Turkish-based heroin traffickers operate in conjunction with smugglers, laboratory operators, and money launderers who finance and control the smuggling of drugs into Turkey from Afghanistan.”

The report argues that Turkish-based traffickers in Western Europe control much of the distribution of heroin. Turkey serves as a “transit route for opium” smuggled from Afghanistan. It is sold in Europe after transport via Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.

According to the report, “some criminal elements in Turkey reportedly have interests in heroin laboratories operating in Iran near Turkey's border.” However, no labs have been detected in Turkey since 2008 according to Turkish authorities.

The 2013 INCSR also defines the Turkish national police as the country's “most proactive counterdrug force” along with the gendarmerie.

The report also notes that “Turkey and India are the only two licit traditional poppy-growing countries recognized by the United States Government and the International Narcotics Control Board.” Opium is produced in Turkey under strict domestic controls and international treaty obligations.

The report concludes with an emphasis on Turkey's commitment to “disrupting illicit drug trafficking” and states the US's support for “Turkey's work as a regional leader in counternarcotics training and education.”

Europe is soft on crime generally, whether by major organised crime networks or teenagers spraying graffiti. There's nothing political about it.

Meh, he is right on that one, the only thing the european police is good at is beating up protestors.

Assassinations has been so common in Europe I still have to see one resolved. And money transport cars getting robbed by rpg's <_<. Just saying.

I am sure Turkish govt only expects Europe to be more careful and proactive in rolling up pkk activity in Europe. that's all. You could read the notes of the wiki page Alienoz put above, it contains some interesting reads, if you are interested.

German deputy speaker: NATO must stop Turkey support for ISIS

By RUDAW 12/10/2014

BERLIN, Germany – NATO must force Turkey to stop its undeclared support of the Islamic State (ISIS) and shift its policy toward the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the deputy speaker of the German parliament said.

Claudia Roth said in an interview with Rudaw that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government is pursuing a “murky” policy in Syria because it wants the Kurds weakened and their fighters “annihilated.”

“What we have learned is that Mr Erdogan wouldn’t mind if Kurds were weakened and then annihilated,” said Roth, deputy speaker of the Bundestag and a Green Party MP.

Erdogan’s “dealings with the ISIS are unacceptable. I could not believe that Turkey harbors an ISIS militant camp in Istanbul,” Roth said. “Turkey has also allowed weapons to be transported into Syria through its borders. Also that the ISIS has been able to sell its oil via Turkey is extraordinary,” she added.

Turkey categorically denies any dealings with ISIS. But there are many reported accounts of foreign jihadi fighters crossing from Turkey to Syria, wounded militants treated in Turkish hospitals and Ankara turning a blind eye to ISIS selling smuggled oil.

Turkey has invited criticism for its Syria policy. Ankara has remained idle while in Kobane Kurdish fighters of the PKK-affiliated People’s Protection Units (YPG) are making a last stand to keep ISIS from overrunning the Syrian town just across the border.

“I really don’t understand either why would Mr Erdogan and his ministers regard the PKK the same way they view the Islamic State,” Roth said. “Yes, it’s true the PKK does not have a democratic foundation, but it is no ISIS and one should not regard it as such,” she added.

Germany must put pressure on Turkey to change course and reevaluate its policies. It should also ask NATO members to do the same. Germany must help the peace process to continue in Turkey.”
