Let's say we agree that they are not mentioned at all. Now, if Allah SWT, knowingly omitted to mention one "specific" way to perform any ritual, doesn't mean that we as humans have the right to force any other human being to follow a certain way to accomplish that.

Allah SWT knows all, and in his divine wisdom he showed us leniency to decide how we as individuals perform these rituals, not the other way round that a certain sect takes over the divine duties, and dictates it's wishes, under threat of a sword.

This is pacifism. Islam and other Abrahamic religions are not. Stoning for example is mentioned in the old testament unless you consider Moses and Jesus to be a harbingers of death and destruction !

What has having comfort got to do with killing people??? How can you not see the extremely disproportionate use of violence and intimidation in this case and how it affects the attitutes and behaviour of common folk? (enlightened people anyways don't need religion to teach them morality and right and wrong).
