Does South Korean air force buy it considering they already bought F-35?

Where do you get that idea from? Those are are almost the exact same size/dimensions. Same DSI placement, same nose cone size, they also appear to have the same class of engine as well.
The F22 is in a whole different league with regards to size/dimension and performance....

KAI will hold a launching event of the 4.5-generation stealth fighter jet in the second week of this month, according to the CEO.
Starting 2028, KAI will begin the export of the KF-X aircraft based on its competitiveness in price.
“It takes about 100 billion won to 200 billion won to acquire one F-35 fighter jet. Lockheed Martin aims to bring down the price to $80 million per unit, but the maintenance costs are so high that even the US is considering to develop new 4.5 generation fighters or upgrade existing fighters,” said Ryu Kwang-su, head of aircraft program division.
“KAI aims to set the price of KF-X fighter at $65 million with minimized maintenance costs. Our analysis says that such price range will offer KF-X a competitive edge in the global export market.”

The engines are the most expensive part. The engines are imported from US.
American components so paf won't get it period$65 m is obviously just the flyaway cost. The total cost over a 10-year period will likely be at least $150 m, which would still be low seeing that's the cost of the F-16.
@SQ8 @JamD I bet we'll see dead-end talks (similar to the M2K-era) involving the KFX and the PAF in the next 2-3 years. It's just one of those fighters that will fly by the PAF's table (decent price, perfect configuration, etc). Sadly, a likely dead-end scenario, unless the Americans decide to be merciful for whatever reason.
tbh I just want something to talk about in the PAF forum (other than what our celebrity PAF pilots are eating for lunch, another tea joke, or debates about who's a cooler ACM candidate).American components so paf won't get it period

So, if we can get some reports about South Korea sending a KFX delegation to Pakistan, that'd help. @Falcon26
There is report suggesting Korean has approached India and it is reported that Indian Defense Minister will come to the roll out ceremony of KFX/IFX as well
Nice design and strides made towards it.
However if I was a nation I'd avoid, especially since the engine is from the US.

Middle East airforce have the best toys alreadyUAE could possibly buy these considering close ties between the UAE and SK but F-16E airframes are very young from the early 2000s so there is still a lot of time before they are retired.
F-35+K-FX would be a killer air force
