Double national budget for military spending to try match USA and catch up in nuclear strike. We need dozens of Type 96 submarines and JL-3 missiles and many more DF-31 and DF-41. USA is still far ahead and too dangerous. Russia knows this very well and they have already focused every energy into creating strong nuclear forces so USA does not dare push too far with them. China is still weaker than that and USA is not too afraid yet to push a little bit. We must guarantee every inch of USA and European soil can be nuked to stop their colonialism. Indian and Asian brothers fight and argue a lot because of them and they keep this up. We need to one day become understanding of each other and defend ourselves from the evil of colonialism. If other countries are worried about China becoming like that, they can nuke China. Don't worry. As long as we are all equal and no one can threaten another ever again like in past, we will be safe from those two faced empires.

Again. I hope China helps Iran with military industry assistance. China needs a life insurance policy against USA. China MUST be able to give all USA enemies key technologies and equipment so if China is wiped out by USA in coming war, those other guys can finish off the USA. USA is close to using up all methods of destroying or destabilizing China without using a war. Soon they will make up reasons for war. It is clear for everyone already. But why are they interested in destroying the world in nuclear war? What mystery group is behind all of this? Reduce the world population? Seems like we are getting there.

The JL-3 is the only SLBM that has currently dethroned the Trident II D5 in term of range and payload, not mentioning its MIRV warheads were also incorporated with the HGV technology.

The Trident II D5 still uses the relatively old propellant like the NEPE 75, even the N15 used by the JL-2 is better.

However, when designing the JL-2, China didn’t have the experience to optimize its performance like the D5. But now it is completely different story, China has a lot of experience with the JL-2 which is enough to pave the road for the JL-3. And the JL-3 was starting its test since 2017, but this time the test was noticed by the US, hence their intel has to report to their decision makers.

The JL-3 is more advanced than the D5 just like the Type 055 being more advanced than the AB class.

The Type 094A with the JL-2A can already fulfill China’s deterrence strategy.

But China still wants something as deadly as the DF-41 for its sea based equivalent, hence the JL-3 was born.

The JL-2A with 12000KM only got 3 MIRV which is not intimidating enough like 10 MIRV in the same range.

I always wish to see that China has the credible, undisputable strategic nuke deterrence power that even the maddest military adventurer power won't think to start a direct war with China, let alone thinking of winning even by staging the sudden unprovoked First Nuclear Strike trying to decapitate the Chinese military force and its retaliatory capability thus achieving the decisive victory.

New Chinese submarine-launched ballistic missile spotted on test in the Bohai Bay

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army-Navy successfully tested its next-generation of a submarine-launched ballistic missile on 2 June.

According to several media reports, the Chinese navy launched a new submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), allegedly JL-3, in the Bohai Bay near the Shandong Peninsula at 4 hours 28 minutes in the morning on June 2, 2019.

Tests of the new Chinese SLBM were spotted by numerous witnesses and fishermen.



The JL-3 third-generation solid-fuelled missile, which must be used to equip the next-generation Chinese nuclear missile submarines, has an intercontinental range (up to 12-14 thousand km) and is capable of carrying up to ten independent warheads.

Earlier, the Maritime Security Administration of Liaoning Province issued a navigation warning about the closing of the maritime zone for “military exercises” in the Bohai Bay area on June 2, 2019.

According to Jane’s Missiles & Rockets, the JL-3 SLBM is intended to arm the next-generation Type 096 nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) class, the first of which is expected to enter service in the late 2020s.

The JL or Julang series – meaning “big wave” in Chinese – are intercontinental ballistic missiles designed for China’s nuclear-powered submarines, as part of the People’s Liberation Army strategy to extend the country’s nuclear deterrent capabilities from land to sea.
