Many Congratulations to Pakistan, PAC-K, and all forum brothers for your spectacular crossover from "have-nots"" to "haves" in the aviation industry. Your Parisian Splash has not gone unnoticed. Reeling in a launch customer so soon is impressive. Pakistan may end up having Thunder project underwrite the entire fleet upgrade!! Now you know why rich keep getting rich.

But seriously, now PAC-K must search for a Meteor/Phoenix lite (AIM-54) to be mated to that AESA being talked about.

if Jf 17 can go for following , it would be a formidable 4+gen potent fighter that could threat anything that India has in its arsenel .
1-IFR
2- Higher thrust engine .
3-Aesa radar
4-targetting pod
5- HMS
6-HOBS.
Now with that it would not be less than the beast in it and would rule the skies .If Paf succeeds in getting Aesa from Salex and HMS and Hobs from south Africa it would be a force multiplier and it would increase its marketting potential.

Back in the day When Rumor mill was high. This was the config of Block-2. IRST included. But funding and problems with JF-17 delayed things to block-III

Towards the end of the 16 page brochure from Paris, did you notice that statement that 33 Block 1s had to have their wings reworked?... ... Sort of explains some of the "delays "

All in due time. Rome wasn't built in one day.

According to PAF Brochure released at Paris

4th JF-17 sqd to be based in South of Pakistan and take over anti-shipping duties from the Mirages that are being phased out

MAR-1 Anti-radiation missile integrated

While multi-role, emphasis of JF-17 bias towards air defence

2 seat JF-17B to be delivered in current Block II batch. Two seater will also have a combat/strike role

Eventual requirement for 275 JF-17s in the PAF

IFR probe could be either South African or Chinese

AESA will be wither from SELEX or China for Block III

A Darter integrated

As I had mentioned earlier, the reason for the JF-17 crash which killed the pilot. So once the issue was identified all the earlier planes were rectified.

Was the increase in payload a side effect of the wing root strengthening?

Page 3 engine gives dry 79 KN thrust and wet 98 KN thrust

where they write it ?? please mention the page number

Hi,

To Pakistani members: I came across this report , just pasting a portion of it.

"The chances are good that we will reach a high level of integration before the military might of China has reached levels where the incitement to flex those muscles becomes too large. As a former fighter pilot and developer of fighters (the Gripen), I discussed the Chinese-Pakistani JF17 Thunder at length with the pilots that flew the demonstrations. I was surprised by how good the aircraft flew and the level of its systems. They are not far behind the fourth generations fighters that the West has."
From an actual pilot, really nice work.

For Indian members: We have to pull our socks up and work harder. A lot of talk won't help
