11-136 was the last JF-17 to be built and inducted in 2011. Currently in service with 16 squadron Panthers.

JF-17 Thunder Dubai Airshow 2013 Demonstration Video

That was some excellent manoeuvring, it displayed good agility, good rate of climb at the end, and what a pleasant surprise, the pictures of the low speed pass with the air brakes deployed showed a really small AoA, the video tells different.

Anyone know what that orange stuff at 3:47 is underneath the fuselage near the back?

its oil leak

In an interview with AFD's Alan Warnes last month, PAF Chief said:

"Planned milestones have been achieved to date and a total of 45 JF-17s have been inducted. These aircraft are operating in two squadrons and a flight test unit established at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra."

Does that mean 44 JF-17s are now in service, if we consider the Nov 2011 crash, or it excludes the crash?

Is this the one which was on static display?
I don't think so, Here are the three serial numbers which were in Dubai I guess
SN-135 (2011)

SN-138 (2012)

SN-142 (2012)

Note that SN-142 is also assigned to Black panthers (Attrition or temporary assignment)? However, 143 carries no insignia, which made me imply that it is still not earmarked for any operational squadron.

Thanx. Our journalists at their best. Can't get their facts straight in defense reportings and that 13.143 was not at Dubai show

So the road so far in JF-17 program.

11-136 was last JF-17 produced in 2011.

12-137 to 12-142, 5 JF-17's produced in 2012

13-143 to 13-150 8 JF-17 produced in 2013

Things were pretty bad for PAF that they had to make a such a drastic cut in JF-17 project and It does show why third Squadron of JF-17 is being put on hold uptill now. Due to very low rate of production

Will JF-17 fail to stop if it didn't had that shute? Are the brakes of JF-17 not effective enough to make it stop?
he even didn't use air brakes yet its pilots choice and lenth of RW . nothing is failure here its first pic of 143 enjoy

I read in many forums that present JF 17s are not BVR capable [other than one prototype tested in 2011], not able to fire SD-10.. All pics of jf17 firing SD-10 are just photoshopped.. Also JF 17 not compleated a vertical loop yet... No relaxed static stability [so no all axis fbw reqd] etc.. Is this right or wrong ??
