Is it confirmed that block 3's new engine will fly at mach 2+ ?
Can we go from mach 1.6 to mach 2+ without compromising structural integrity?
Any experts please?

We will be upgrading block 3 in the future so it could be called block 4. This is highly possible. Block 1 and 2 are similar. Block 3 and 4 will be similar but 5years upgrades. Nothing like block 4 stealth fighter. Paf 5th generation fighter will be stealth and with better engine, range etc

There is no harm considering a semi stealth variant of a cheap and reliable platform...

Even USA is doing that with f 15x... They have just placed first order for 150 planes .

This shud not replace project azm but techs developed for azm can also be utilized here.

I know there is no such plan for now atleast

F-15X design remain same as standard F-15C/D, only thing in F-15X will be Changed is latest avionics and engines,
if you will change design of JF-17 then it will become JF-19 or something because its structurally/mechanically different from JF-17 hence it will become whole new project @Mrc

Beside avionics and engine upgrade blk3 needs additional hard point or 2 under fuselage. That could be the only exterrnal change if done ?

Honestly I wouldn love to see inside PAC right now

Some film crew like GEO or ARY needs to make another documentary like last year and film whole area and let us viewers pick out each and every serial number
