Depends how many rockets the Gazans have I suppose.

Likely more than Israeli's have Tamirs if they are using 2 interceptors per rocket.

If they run out, the Israeli cities will be hit hard lacking protection.

I would be very surprised if they do not have more rockets than Tamirs. It's would be a great strategic mistake. Considering the costs of a 107mm or 122mm rocket, It should be expected that they have many more. These 24/7 airstrikes are degrading the ability for them to actually operate in what seems like a serious level. The next 24 hours will be difficult.

Imo once we start seeing 5000+ rockets used from Gaza (if it ever reaches that point) the holes will start to become considerably larger for the IDF air defense. You can presume by that point they'd have already spent over 300 million dollars on air defenses assuming 40K per missile.

ELNIT news claims 1,050 rockets fired from Gaza 850 entered Israel of which many were intercepted and 200 fell short in Gaza. Assuming they are correct.

With this kind of ratio in the 5000 rocket range, we are looking at: 81% entering Israeli airspace

4050 entering Israel (assume all are intercepted, which will not be the case in real life) -> Use of ~ 8100 Tamirs at the cost of 324 million dollars. Rough guess. I genuinely don't think they have this kind of inventory.

Al-Quds brigades is the military wing of PIJ, they mostly share their weapons arsenal with Izz ad-Din al-Qassam brigades the military wing of Hamas.

One special point about military wing of PIJ is that they have received anti Tank weapons from Hezbollah. Ideologically compared to Hamas, they are closer to Iran.
