India went for the Rafale deal and Pakistan has to chose now to arm PAF with a counter will Pakistan go for the New Mig 35 Fulcrum. The New Mig is a better platform than the Rafale with 3D thrust vectoring and technology which no Indian jet will have for years to come and Pakistan will get the advantage cheaply. So is the new Mig 35 Fulcrum Made for Pakistan to counter the Rafael. MIG 35 comes with half the price tag of Rafale.

If a joint production offer is made will Pakistan go for the platform

How about joint production just like JF 17. we will get air superiority fighter and a new home made platform to tackle India. We need two designs in our home grown arsenal and this is the right path to produce. Russia knows India is not a customer after Rafale and Pakistan will get it no matter how much India cries plus it will improve relations with Russia more and we will have better diplomacy on the global stage. Russia is willing to do the deal Pakistan needs to move forward to develop the fighter in the Pakistan because Russia is more focused on 5th gen and looking towards India's current deals any near future military confrontation will be of 4.5 gen not 5th Gen. It is cheap than Rafale plus also supports Chinese equipment. We need to think out of the box

They are giving PAF engines for JF 17 why will they not give to Pakistan. World has a new look and we need to fill the gap

Sukhoi is a much better platform.. as testified by many buyers.. The Mig-35 will be a good replacement for the Mig 21 or its Chinese equivalent, but the JF-17 can do that at a much better price..

Russia just launched and Mig21 was the base of JF 17 so Pakistan is familiar with the F7 platform already.

The 3D thrust vectoring is an option offered, but I do not know how much that will add to the overall price, because it starts at 45 million$ and might go up to 70 million$ or more if you want all or most of the goodies added..

No dude. We need develop our own domestic industry and although the Russians are being all very peachy with us right now, frankly I don't trust them. This "friendship" is still in its early stages. let india go on bugging spree, who gives two turds about them. We need to go on a development spree. PAF is on the right track.

That's the point bro, MiG doesn't bring much to the table that JF-17 blk III won't have already except a bit larger size but Su-35 will be a different category altogather, a heavy fighter with deep strike capability so for example, I get a combo a toyota Corolla and Honda Civic at the same does not make much sense, I would rather have a mini and an SUV to accomplish two different roles.
