Is religion a source of unity or division?

I will try to translate the Bible, so you all can understand that the Bible needs to be read with an open Mind. Use your god given fantasy to explain the Bible.

The Beginning

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Heaven is the state of higher existance. Earth is the Material World.

2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Life was created from Water. Without Water there is no Life. The Tree of Life need Water.

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

Light is the blood of God. It gives us the energy of life.

4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

God created the Darkness. He separated Good and Evil. Life and Death.

5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.

Rise and Dawn of Life.

6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.

different stadiums of Life. EVOLUTION from protoplasma to complex creatures like Humans.

8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning-the second day.

creation of spacetime.

9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.

creation of GRAVITY.

10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.

Gravity (Land, massive) and spacetime (sea, flow) working together. Gravity is "land" on the "sea" of Spacetime.

11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.

Land is gravity. Vegetation is the tree of life. seed bearing plants is the "Tree of life" on the land means, that Protoplasma is cretaed through gravitation. Bearing "fruit" (Species) with "seed" (DNS). "Various kinds" means seperation into different Species.

12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Gravity producing Tree of Life (Water+Protoplasma), Tree of Life creates DNS and creates Evolution.

13 And there was evening, and there was morning-the third day.

Spacetime starts Evolution process.

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,

Light is Blood of God. Existing in the expanse (Universe, empty space), Sky (higher existance). To seperate day (life) and night (death). Creation of Lightspeed. Flow of Gods Blood.

15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.

Sky (higher existance), Earth (Material World). Light (Blood of God) flowing from the higher existance towards the Material World.

16 God made two great lights-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.

Greater Light (Blood) to fuel day (Life) and lesser Light (Blood) to fuel night (death, decay). Stars = Suns, Sun = Gods Heart which pumps the Light (Blood) towards us.

17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth,

Sun (Gods Heart) placed in the emptiness of higher existance. Sun (Gods Heart) giving Light (Blood) towards the Eart (Material world) from the Sky (Higher existance)

18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

to govern the day and the night (To rule Life and Death). Seperate Light(Blood, Life) from darkness (Nothing).

19 And there was evening, and there was morning-the fourth day.

Flow of Spacetime and Light (Blood), governed by Gravity (Water>Protoplasma>Tree of Life>Evolution).

20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."

Let the Water (Created by Gravity, Given Number of the Evolution) teem (Creation of Mathematics/Set Theory) with living creatures (Another given Number of Evolution).

Without Mathematics there cant be Existance. Nothing exists without Mathematics.

Take all of this with a grain of salt.

Since most people are corrupt or brainless, every human ideology or religion turns into division and conflict.

Is democracy a source of unity or division? Is capitalism a source of unity or division?

Division and conflict is the nature of our universe. Humans evolved from cell division, families divide, clan divide, society divide and then civilization divide.

We are born crying, we fight with germs, we fight for our survival, we fight for food, we fight to be heard, we fight to be relevant ....... how can any philosophy or thought make is any different ?

.
It is supposed to be the source of mental and spiritual peace. Not war.

.
Religion could be source of both division and unity like the other things but it per sei doesn't cause the problem, the main roots are in misunderstanding of truth and being not willing to accept it.

....and what truth would that be ?

Is religion a source of unity or division? - Inside Story - Al Jazeera English

It is blamed for wars and discrimination, yet also embraced as a means of resolution and integration.

Religion is the source of many arguments, while some studies suggest it is on the decline.

A conference in Qatar is promoting a message of interfaith dialogue, of religion as a means of global co-existence.

"This is very helpful in terms of breaking misconceptions, all the challenges we have in the peace-building process, the barriers to achieving peace, it is very important that we search for common ground," Rohaniza Sumndad Usman, founder of the Teach Peace, Build Peace Movement told Al Jazeera.

Blaming religion as the cause of conflict is an easy generalisation to make.

Fighting in Central African Republic is between Muslims and Christians; Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims are involved in the violence in Myanmar; the conflict in Northern Ireland had its roots in religion; and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is seen as having a religious dimension.

But in all these examples, there are more fundamental driving forces - be it land, power or nationalism.

So is religion at the heart of conflicts around the world? And do different faiths have the will to work together for a common good?
It is neither of the above. Religion is the mother of all **** ups that have inflicted damage on mankind so far.

. . .
That would depend on your definition of "progress".......... religion provides a alternative definition than politics would give or a Business would give.

Conflict/Problem means Progress. Creating a conflict/crisis and Humans will progress while searching for solutions.

WW1 and WW2 + Cold War was milestones in technological progress. Penicilin, Radar Technology, Radio etc.

You are merely stating the obvious.

How can seeking solutions to problems be progress ? Real progress would be to reach the root cause of all the problems  ..... and then solve it for one final time.

You mean extinction of Human race? That sure is a solution.

....and what truth would that be ?

Rumi, the 13th Century Persian poet and teacher of Sufism, included it in his Masnavi. In his retelling, "The Elephant in the Dark", some Hindus bring an elephant to be exhibited in a dark room. A number of men touch and feel the elephant in the dark and, depending upon where they touch it, they believe the elephant to be like a water spout (trunk), a fan (ear), a pillar (leg) and a throne (back). Rumi uses this story as an example of the limits of individual perception:

The sensual eye is just like the palm of the hand. The palm has not the means of covering the whole of the beast.[10]

Rumi does not present a resolution to the conflict in his version, but states:

The eye of the Sea is one thing and the foam another. Let the foam go, and gaze with the eye of the Sea. Day and night foam-flecks are flung from the sea: oh amazing! You behold the foam but not the Sea. We are like boats dashing together; our eyes are darkened, yet we are in clear water.

Rumi ends his poem by stating "If each had a candle and they went in together the differences would disappear."
