75% unemployment - doesnt seem like it...

It was 75% for a while -- probably due to some ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza. The usual unemployment rate in Gaza is 41%, which is still high and the Arab governments won't help out their fellow Arabs by giving them jobs in their countries.

On the question of Israelis in general, most of them are decent enough people, especially the younger crowd. Unfortunately they have been brainwashed by one-sided Zionist propaganda since their birth. And the Hamas attacks only strengthen their indoctination into hardline Zionist mentality.

Arabs love Indians: ask Syrians , Iraqi , Egyptians, Lebanese, Palestinians and Iranians they love Indians (even when India sleep with Israel) , On the other hand Pakistan who is so in front line of not recognize Israel is being disliked by Syrians , Iraqi , Egyptians, Lebanese, Palestinians and Iranians as being puppet of USA (since non alliance movement).
Who is our friend in time of need? any Arab country came to help Pakistan in time of Kargil?

Make friends Pakistan.

Long long time ago , PPPP government is still tiring for years to get loan for oil from Saudi Arab but they declined. They are happy to sell Oil to India.

Saudi Arab, Jordan and Iran were the nation who used to help Pakistan (during war) but now all the friendly Kings to Pakistan are dead.

Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of UAE (may he rest in peace) was the last true Pakistani friend alive.

All friends Bhutto made in Islamic world (except for Colonel Muammar Al-Gaddafi) are dead. Pakistan should look for new friends.

I do not agree with that

Saudi Arabia assures full support in war on terror

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia fully supports Pakistan’s role in the war on terror and will extend all possible support for countering and defeating forces of terrorism, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said here on Saturday.

He was talking to media persons along with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer, who earlier held a detailed meeting with the minister and handed him a letter of the Saudi Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, in which he assured full support to the Pakistani nation and its security forces in fighting terror.

‘Our commitment and full readiness to provide all possible help to our brethren in Pakistan for countering the forces of terrorism and defeating the saboteurs who are causing havoc on earth’, the letter says.

Rehman Malik said, ‘We are greatly thankful to the Ambassador and Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz for such good words of help. Saudi Arabia has always stood with Pakistan at every difficult moment’.

He also condemned the group from Yemen which was interfering in Saudi Arabia.

‘We stand shoulder to shoulder with our brotherly country Saudi Arabia for any support and help in this connection’.

The minister said Saudi Arabia was facing same kind of terrorist threats and actions as being faced by Pakistan.

‘The world must look into factors, states, people and groups supporting the enemies of humanity. They have no religion and boundaries and are doing it to destablise certain countries,’ said Malik.

Replying to a question, he said there was no deadlock between PPP and MQM, adding both coalition partners were moving ahead smoothly.

‘Difference of opinion exists in democracy but this does not mean they are leaving us. We have no such problems.’

‘Altaf Hussain made a phone call during talks at Dubai, saying he never demanded resignation from the president, rather he assured he would use all his resources along with his party to strengthen the president’.

Rehman Malik said they have to think above party politics as the country was facing a lot of problems and fighting the war on terror.

He said PPP and MQM made joint legal and political think tank teams for discussing important national and international issues.—APP

Military cooperation

Pakistan maintains close military ties with Saudi Arabia, providing extensive support, arms and training for the Military of Saudi Arabia.[3] Pilots of the Pakistan Air Force flew aircraft of the Royal Saudi Air Force to repel an incursion from South Yemen in 1969. In the 1970s and 1980s, approximately 15,000 Pakistani soldiers were stationed in the kingdom.[3] Saudi Arabia has negotiated the purchase of Pakistani ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads.[3] It is also speculated that Saudi Arabia secretly funded Pakistan's nuclear programme and seeks to purchase atomic weapons from Pakistan to enable it to counteract possible threats from arsenals of the weapons of mass destruction possessed by Iran, Iraq and Israel.[5][6][7] Both nations have received high-level delegations of scientists, government and military experts seeking to study the development of a nuclear programme.[5][8][3]

Development of bilateral relations

Saudi Arabia was one of the strongest supporters of Pakistan during Pakistan's wars with India, especially opposing the creation of Bangladesh from Pakistan's eastern wing in 1971 due to the fear of India's increasing role in the region and the propaganda from West Pakistan of what was happening in East Pakistan.[1] While it had supported Pakistan's stance on the Kashmir conflict, it has since endorsed the Indo-Pakistani peace process. With Pakistan, it provided extensive financial and political support to the Taliban and the Afghan mujahideen fighting the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s.[2][3][1] During the 1990-1991 Persian Gulf War, Pakistan sent troops to protect the Islamic holy sites in Saudi Arabia, but strains developed when some Pakistani politicians and Gen. Mirza Aslam Beg, the then-chief of staff of the Pakistani army openly expressed support for Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq and its invasion of Kuwait.[4] Along with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were the only states to recognise Taliban rule in Afghanistan. In May 1998, before Pakistan's Chagai-I nuclear tests, Saudi Arabia promised to supply 50,000 barrels per day of free oil to help Pakistan cope with likely economic sanctions in the aftermath.[3]

Dubai: Foreign investment is essential in bringing stability to Pakistan because stability there can ensure stability in the region and the world, said a top UAE official.

Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, said the UAE has been and will remain a major contributor in terms of investment in Pakistan in various fields.

"We would like to ask you to take full advantage of this event to assist and support Pakistan in its efforts to be a stable country," Shaikh Abdullah told the inaugural session of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Investment Conference held on Tuesday in Dubai.

The UAE hosted the conference under the platform of Friends of Democratic Pakistan (FODP) whose aim was to provide an opportunity for interaction between the public and private sectors of Pakistan and FODP member countries and their commercial organisations.

More than 400 dele-gates from around the world, including FODP member countries, major financial institutions and businessmen attended the conference, at which Pakistani officials introduced projects which are open to public-private sector investment.

"The UAE has always been a steadfast friend of Pakistan. The successful experience of the UAE investors in Pakistan is clear proof that Pakistan offers exciting business opportunities," said Shaikh Abdullah.

"This conference will be a step forward towards stability in Pakistan and the stability of the region as a whole," he added.

He said the UAE committed $300 million (Dh1 billion) at the Tokyo FODP conference.

Expectation

"We will have more investment in the public-private sector in Pakistan and also expect Pakistani businessmen to invest here in the UAE," he added.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi meanwhile said that Pakistan has suffered immensely at the hands of militancy and terrorism.

"In addition to losing thousands of lives, including civilians, policemen and military personnel, we also suffered huge economic losses in terms of infrastructure, investment and exports to the tune of $35 billion since 9/11," he said as he thanked the UAE for its great support.

Qureshi said that it is the right time to invest in Pakistan so that the war against terror will not go on forever.

"We are going to succeed as we are moving full throttle in the war against terrorism and in all areas of the economy. We want you to help us and join us in this process.

"Your timely and sustained engagement will help step up our march in progress," he added.

Minister: UAE committed to Pakistan's progress, security

I think i have answered your question bro , Listen our Support for Palestine is on Principal and how and why on earth we would support a Nazi style Zionist Army ???

Do you people even have a heart ?

Why do you always look for benefit .. remember hamain ooper walay ko bhi Mounh dikhana hai ...:pakistan:

No, Pakistan should certainly NOT recognize Israel. Nothing good will ever come out for Pakistan if Pakistan recognizes Israel. Zionists hate Pakistanis, they will never help Pakistan or will never want any good relations with Pakistan.

I've met zionists living in the west, they hate Pakistanis. They see Muslims as all the same, they are not like us. They cant differentiate between Arab, Iranian, Pakistani, Sunni, Shia. For them all Muslims are the same and they discriminate against anyone who looks a little Arab and a lot of Pakistanis can be mistaken for Arab.
