Is Earth the only technologically-intensive civilization in Universe?

Complex because we are yet to understand it completely, because of the lack of study in this field.
Animals 're not as expressive as human beings or they would've developed a language of their own.

And you do confirm that with increasing IQ, there will be less and less emotional hold backs, hence evolution.
Human needs both IQ and EQ to survive....we 're social animals afterall.Evolution would mean more balanced EQ and IQ.

Just because we don't understand their expression, that doesn't mean they don't have one. In recent research, there were enough evidence to suggest there are few distinct voice made by animals to express different stimuli. Hence an evidence of language.

Look around, people are getting more and more societal neutral.

Human-caused climate change, ocean acidification and species extinctions

So which of these are positive and exclusive indicators of advanced technology?

Jury's still out whether all these phenomena are caused by human activity or are just part of vast natural cycles. Does a billion people spitting into the ocean raise the world's water levels?

If we observe or don't observe these phenomena on some planet, is that conclusive proof either way?

no there are trillions of planets in universe who hold far more advance technology than Earth, but still they are not advanced enough or desperate enough to go on voyage beyond their own solar systems,
but once a desperate civilization goes out of their solar system to find new home and stumbles on to Earth, humans will be like Maldives and aliens will be like US Navy :butcher:

The human ego never permitted us to believe that our universe wasnt geocentric,,,same way its the human ego whic doesnt permit us to even imagine that there could be life beyond earth...perhaps more superior to us.
And the technological development of human beings has come at a cost....
Don't generalize.........I think, people who believe that there could be life(more/less intelligent) beyond earth are more in numbers than those who believe otherwise.......infact, the space agencies of the world are engaged in outer space explorations mainly for the purpose of searching for life......and we're funding/supporting them....

We are being observed by a Galactic Empire. In the next 1,000 year they will (A) allow us to self destruct and nearly annihilate our selves and creating a reboot, (B) allow us to continue advancing technologically until ready to join the Galactic Empire peacefully, or (C) they will initiate the Apocalypse Genetic Weapon targeting only humans if they perceive we are a threat to them.

In the event of (A) and (C) scenarios with will colonize Earth and what few humans exist will be declared Citizens or Slaves.

Currently Human Observers are to guide mankind towards the right path but not to directly interfere, failure will lead to mankind's demise.

you do not know if there are other earths or any other living planets so you cannot say anything about earth being the most technology intensive! ;)

There are aliens and they gona come-
They're already here!

Check out this vid smuggled out of Area 51 of an alien captured during the Roswell incident. This has not yet proven to be a hoax! The voice-over has been camoed for maintaining confidentiality.

This alien is believed to have died at The Dulce Base a few years after this video was taken due to unknown circumstances.

No.....earth is not the only technologically intensive planet in universe......
aliens are there....:mamba:
predators are there.... :butcher:
transformers are there.... :lock:
kryptonite are there..... :super:
guardians of the galaxy are there....:triniti:

Even jadoo is there :sarcastic:
these people live in a separate planet and r more technologically intensive...... :(:cray:

On a serious note....I agree with what the thread states.....yes,earth is the only technologically intensive planet in universe :haha:

I don't believe in existence of other creatures :pleasantry:

And does this mean @Skull and Bones is the only intelligent human on earth?

Ofcourse they've some sort of language to communicate but its not as complex as ours.

I would call them more addicted to social networking sites.Only the face to face communication has reduced but communication otherwise has increased ten folds. And as I said as human beings evolve so does their IQ and EQ.
Had animals been better evolved than they would've taken over us long back.

Its not about generalizing. Its about how our scientists and other institutions want us to believe that there could be no intelligent life forms beyond earth.

There isn't much intelligent life on Earth either ! :undecided:

Especially when it comes to a certain South Asian people known as the Malayali !

I am the only beacon of Intellect to whom all the greatest minds of ages past have passed down the torch of wisdom ! :smokin:

Tremble before me in awe O mere mortals ! :bunny:
