Turkish military presence is much stronger as most people think. Rudaw Kurdish Iraqi Federate State Agency published figures and pictures .
Already there are 8000 soldiers located on some bases and the number will raise to 30000.
The main target is "Operation Free Mossul", as it was agreed with the USA , Kurdish Federal Government , Iraqi PM Abadi and Iraqi Mossul Governor Nuceyfi.
Kurdish sources claim that cause heavy protests from Iran and Russia, Iraqi authorities surprisingly now protest against Turkish help, they wanted before against ISIS. Turkish PM Davutoglu assured Iraq that Turkey will protect Iraq's territorial integrity and nobody should be worried.

I have been waiting to see this happen. Only Turkish ground forces together with coalition air support can kick out ISIS salafi/wahabi's from both Iraq and Syria. This is a great opportunity for Turkey to show the world what they are capable of to eliminate salafi/wahabi terrorism from the world.

Turkey has an agreement with Kurdish government in Iraq , Turkish troops have been in Iraq for more than 2 YEARS
this is a simple rotation of already existing force.
