The Iraqi Foreign Ministry decided to summon the Turkish ambassador to Baghdad to hand him an official protest note over the statements made by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the Popular Mobilization Forces.
In a brief statement, the spokesman of the ministry, Ahmad Jamal, said ” Foreign Ministry decided to summon the Turkish ambassador to Baghdad to hand him an official protest note over the statements made by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the Popular Mobilization Forces.”
Iraq’s Prime Minister Haidar Abadi had stated that the Popular Mobilization Forces can liberate the entire Mosul, noting that the operations aimed at liberating the western Mosul are in their final stages.
Holding meetings with the PMF commanders in western Mosul, Abadi said that the next stage includes liberating Tal Afar and the Iraqi-Syrian border from ISIL terrorists.
